All the excellent reviews were spot on, Anna and the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming.
Rooms were nice sized with a cool outside shower bathroom built onto the rear of each apartment. We noticed some reviews stating that the mosquitos can be a problem in the bathroom at dusk - tip get the mosquito incense candles from 7/11 and burn one before shower time done the trick for us :)
Location was perfect with a great tip from staff to visit beaches and local bars and restaurants. Highly recommend.

We stay here for 2 nights. Resort is located near Sunrise Beach.We can walk from arrival port around 5 minutes and notice big painting yellow wall at the front of resort. It's local style building and sylvan with tree. Our room is big and clean.We can shower with the star and moonlight. Ann & Simon are very helpful and they recommend us for the interesting place and restaurant in the island.They also have a boat for snorkeling and fishing trip. It doesn't like tour one day trip as we buy from tour agency. Simon takes us to a beautiful spot for snorkeling. He brings fishing rod for fishing trip but we don't have enough time. After we finish boat trip, we go to the sunset beach for swimming and relaxing. Resort has breakfast service. Ann has secret recipe jam and it's good taste combination with Pa-tong-goh. We are very impressed with resort service and we will come back here for sure.

I absolutely loved this hotel. Their aren't many rooms about 8 or so and they are tastefully decorated. I love the cushioned picnic table as it was great for writing and eating at. The rooms are huge and can fit in a second bed so there were lots of families yet as the only solo traveller I was still treated very well. I loved the chillpit area opposite the main lobby/restaurant area it's a nice space to read. The bed is a proper mattress and the tv has so many English channels compared to what is usually on offer. Breakfast was delicious and the family that run this hotel are so nice. It was the first hotel in Thailand where the room was nicer than the photos. Another charming feature is the open air bathroom I haven't had one since my safari in Africa and it is really a nice touch. It is not on the beach so if that is important to you than this is not your hotel. It is very close to sunrise beach which during the high season is very wavy and full of boats there was no real marked off area for swimmers. And a five or so minute walk to Pattaya beach which during the winter has calm waters and great snorkelling from shore. I tried every spot in that bay and the best was the first roped off area to the right as you exit the walking street. My first time out I saw a sea snake and many times I saw sea horses the variety of marine life in this little area is amazing and definitely you see different stuff at different times of the day. The seas were pretty rough when I was there at other places so I may go back next month.

This is a place that we would definitely be staying again if we go to Koh Lipe again. Without a single doubt. It's not beach front but Sunrise Beach (the best of Lipe beaches) is just a mere 10 minutes walk away. Walking Street is 10 minutes away as well which means you have a peaceful night sleep. We stayed in family room which is very spacious. No TV but who need TV in Koh Lipe anyway. They do have a nice lounge where kids can hang out and watch TV and play board games. They have tons of books collection as well. Nice open air-styled bathroom. Good rain shower, hot water as well. Bed is a bit hard to my liking but sleep quality is high. The best thing about this place is the owner - Simon. He goes all the way to make your stay as comfortable as he could. He knows the places well and able to recommend your the best restaurants, the best spots, the best timing to go to the beaches and if you have small kids, your kids would love to have him around. We also took his snorkeling trip. His price might be a bit more that what others on the island has got to offer but trust me on this, his boat is much bigger and in term of safety, he's on top of it. And the spots he brought us to snorkel are literally out of this world and I'm not even exaggerating about it, He kept and eye on the kids and teaches them patiently on correct snorkeling technics and explained about current and tides and we all leant something new. It was a totally unforgettable experience for us and I would strongly recommend anyone to stay at Oasis Lipe and take Simon's trip without a blink.

We stayed at Oasis last year and loved Koh Lipe so much that we came back again. For us with 2 children Oasis was perfect because it is close to Sunrise beach and Walking Street but at the same time it is quiet and peaceful. Ann is the owner and she is lovely. Unfortunately we couldn't do the snorkelling trip this year because of unseasonally poor weather. However, the trip we did the previous year, organised by Oasis was just about the best day we have ever had as a family whilst on holiday. Absolutely spectacular.

Beautiful property with a superb location. Just a few blocks to Sunrise beach and walking street. Clean, spacious room, with cold ac and a nice outdoor hot shower. Friendly staff in a quiet garden setting. Has a hose to spray the sand off your feet, thank you! Will definitely stay here next time we’re on the island, highly recommend.

The owner of this place is very nice. I believe her and her family live here. It was very cozy and the beds were alright comfort wise but not the best. It kind of had a funny smell to it... like oldish but it was ok. Breakfast was good and in a cozy environment. Close to walking street which in my opinion is where you want to be near so that was great. It was far enough though that you aren’t bothered by noise. A+ Honestly loved it here, would come back for sure! It’s close to sunrise beach which is nice but packed and no privacy. Sunset beach was further but worth the walk because not many people went there. Then the main beach, Pattaya I believe? Was really nice but also busy. Thanks again!

We stayed here for our stay on Ko lipe and was a great location. Minutes to walking street and sunrise beach..we walked to sunset beach as well- just a little farther. Simon the owner took us out on a whole day snorkeling tour to several beautiful spots. We had plenty of time at each location and never was rushed to move on. Very relaxed! Provided lots of fruit snacks and delicious chicken & rice lunch. Rooms were nice and clean, and breakfast was cooked to order and tasty! Even can do laundry for a small fee. Our room had the outdoor bathroom which after I got used to I didn't mind, except for the mosquitoes... bug spray is a must on the island! Great friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again!

Oasis Lipe has a delightful garden setting, and a fab quiet location on the edge of the town - it's a couple minutes walk to sunrise beach, close to shops and restaurants and walkable to the pier (but we took a mototaxi as we had heavy bags). The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The "outdoor" bathroom is very unique and we loved it. It is a private bathroom but be prepared to share it with some tropical creatures of course! It was great to have free tea and coffee for all guests in the mornings. We didn't have breakfast included so paid for it one morning, and it was simple, cheap and perfectly adequate for us. Overall, a great place to stay on Lipe at a fantastic price.

We never thought we could hang out at nights on walking street coz we had 2 kids with us ( boys 11 & 7). Yet we did this every night !!! We just left the boys in the care of the really sweet caretakers Ann & her niece. They were so sweet that the niece actually cooked bowls of soupy noodles for dinner for kids. Our best time here was spending time with Ann & Simon who are somewhat the pioneers at Koh Lipe !! The information they gave us was so perfect, it even answered some things that were bothering me. Anyways, the rooms are beautiful and ideal for a family of 4...they have the 2 bunk beds in the garden rooms that is perfect for the kids. Simon is just the right guy to go to if you are looking at a fishing trip. Ann really can do all the rest i.e from taking you out on a boat to simply making you feel comfortable about leaving small kids behind. I will definitely go back there.
