Such a fabulous place I just had to write a review! The restaurant was busy every night, with people coming from all over the island, to enjoy their great food, chilled vibes and happy hour. Perfect location, right on the beach. Family room with slight beach view. Friendly staff, best cocktails, will definitely return.
I stayed here for 5 nights in a bungalow with a (basic) garden view The staff were all friendly and efficient. My room was not large and there was little shelving and hanging space. I think 2 people would find it difficult to feel comfortable. The aircon, lighting and fridge were all okay but all the the TV cable channels were in Thai. The bathroom was large but still a wet room. The water heater worked okay but the shower was positioned next to the door with the towel railat the other end. Only the shower wall was tiled, the other 3 walls were bare concrete. The timber vanity affixed tot the wall would make a good museum piece. The porch had old timber furniture with each bungalow having a wash station which was handy. Plenty of mozzies so make sure you have your spray. My breakfast was included and was limited to eggs, hotdogs, toast, jam, juice and 3 different fruits each morning but was more than adequate. There were tables and chairs outside the restaurant building but the timber sunloungers had no cushions. Although this property is beachfront, the beach is very narrow and many boats park along this stretch of beach. Boats parked in front of the resort was hit and miss. Overall, I don't agree with the 3 star rating, particularly given the bungalow. I've stayed in many 2 star rated bungalows around Thailand better appointed than what Salisa provides.…
We spent a quiet, peaceful, and lovely weekend at this resort. It is located at sunset beach, the quiet section of Koh Lipe. The chalet was clean, nice, but a bit small. It is close to the beach. The resort is well maintained, falling leaves are swept away daily. The beachfront is clear of any long tail boats, unlike others in the area. A swing placed facing the beach makes a nice vantage and resting point to watch the sun goes down or to listen to the relentless waves in the dark of the night. We hope to come again in the future.
The hotel was perfect for a 4 persons family with 1 kid and 3 adults. We had a 2 couples room and it works great! The staff was super sweet. Breakfast was excellent but the best point of this hotel is the sea view and his beach!!!!!! Incredible water colors and so many beaches around it ! I recommend it !!😊
I really enjoyed staying here, your just yards away from the beach. The rooms in the villas are big with a fridge . TV didn't work and neither did the internet, did I complain no! I'm on holiday and couldnt give 2 hoops about the internet and watching the tv! The bathrooms are a little outdated but for 4 nights it's ok. I really wouldnt stay on Lipe anymore than that anyway. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The sunrise is beautiful best beach to be on by far. Breakfast is basic in the morning but nice, a coffee and some toast and eggs, I dont need much else! BUT the mangers really do need to spend a bit of money on getting the sunbeds some comforters, your back hurts after a couple if hours on the wooden lounger! You might find guest stay all day eating your food and drinking your beer if you just spend some money on these. I really enjoyed it and would come back for a few nights! …
- internet does not work in the rooms , we complained and the problem was never resolved for all our stay ( 8 days ) - The staff does not clean the bathrooms and does not make the bed ( see pictures ) . For a week they never ever put paper where should be,cleaned the sink once and never cleaned the mirror. Only brushed the floor and made the bed on the 5th day - The door of the room does not fit properly so there is space and insects can come in. We had a giant cucaracha in the room. - The room is outdated : the sink is full of dirt and stains and so the wc toilet with black stains. - There is no chair in the room and no forniture to place your staff - The towel are very old and full of stains - Pillow full of stains ( see pic ) - There is no signage at the entrance of the resort and not pavement street. The street to walk trough to arrive at the resort has no lights and has a lot of garbage - In each room you will see a list ( see pic) of things they will charge you such as: if you use the hair drier and it breaks you will have to pay 500 bath/15 euro , if you use the math and It’s dirty you pay 500 bath etc and so for the sheets and towel etc this is ethically disappointing as you feel they are trying to steal your money and take advantage of you. The cost of the room should cover exactly this and I should be responsible of your outdated staff breaks ???!!! See the pic of the hair drier and tell me if they even paid 10 years ago 500 bath for it ! It is a joke. - I paid £92 per night for a total of £720 and I find absurd to qualify this hotel as 3 stars and also it is worth £30 per night. - One night they decided to close the restaurant at 5pm to make their own party and we could not have dinner in the resort - The staff does not speak a word of English so they are not able to take correct food orders and how do I pretend to make a complain? They do not understand !!! Well, the person that manages this place should seriously look into these points and I truly think they stole my money and partially ruined my experience in Koh lipe. The only positive point is the location, but look further and not on Booking.com and you ‘ll find better quality resort!…
The resort is situated on sunrise beach. The location is fabulous it’s ten mins walk to Pattaya beach and probably 20 mins to sunset beach(both worth visiting). To get to Pattaya beach you walk through ‘walking st’. There are three rates of room standard, bungalow and deluxe. We stayed in the standard room which was very basic and the bathrooms really need a re-doing. Saying that, there were really clean, with air con, fresh towels and bedding every day. The island is stunning so where ever you stay you shouldn’t spend much time in the room.
Hello! The only great thing about this resort is the location which is stunning and the stuff is lovely but slow ( and does not speak a word of English ) There is no entrance, but a very dark street with no signage, a dusty ‘ street ‘ ( a path!) full of rubbish. I paid £92 per night for a week for a bungalow room basically which is outdated, has no chairs, it is extremely hot inside and has not night stand and tables. The wc is very old with dark signs and the sink is terrible. The water flows extremely slow. The internet connection does not work 98% of the times and the staff in the morning does not even bother to make the bad anymore after the 2nd day. They have 3 types of rooms and the one I booked is the PREMIUM, so think about the rest ... it is a shame as the common area and the garden are lovely and the location is great. I paid a total of £720 to have what in EU we have in a hostel or 1 star hotel. …
The location is absolutely stunning. It's right in the Sunrise beach and only about 5 minutes walk from the Walking Street. We stayed in the garden bungalow which was outdated. The room itself is really dark and small and the only lamp is the bright one in the roof. There is no place where you can place your luggage. There is only bed and no chairs or tables. I do not recommend this room type. Breakfast was about average but not anything special.
We came on a dive trip with Satun Dive Centre next door. But bcs the Satun room in Satun resort are all fan, we chose one nearest to the dive centre that comes with A/C which is how we found Salisa Resort. The surrounding here were comfortable, ambience were good, room despite being smaller than expected but it meets our basic needs for a stay. Price is comparable with other resorts nearby. Food were fantastic! Staff were friendly and attentive too. I wouldn't say the stay here were fancy but it's definitely cosy
