I don’t understand the negative reviews. The room sizes are as described, so no surprises there, and everywhere charges 3% for credit cards, as far as I’ve experienced. The rooms are immaculate and serviced every day and the air on is quiet and efficient. The set breakfast at 150B is better value than anywhere else you might find. If you ask for a room at the back it might be a bit dark but very quiet, even the cockerels don’t wake up until 6, unlike elsewhere. I was sent with my laundry to the place next door, back in 24 hours. The staff are excellent (Ning, Bao, Susu), and the free taxi service works brilliantly. It’s not really the place to come for reliable WiFi but apart from that my only disappointment was that despite messaging twice through booking.com nobody met me from the speedboat, and if you have a bag on wheels it’s quite a long walk carrying everything until you get to the start of the paved road where the taxis wait. Shop around, though, some sites were much cheaper than others but it didn’t seem to be full when I was there and the walk in price is better.…

I wish I could find something to recommend this establishment. I chose to stay here based partly on price and partly on the reviews I had read, however I was very disappointed with the guest house. The guest house is in serious need of a refurb or upgrade. It doesn’t look as though it has had any money spent on it since it was opened. The bedrooms are very very tiny and the bathrooms just about acceptable. The reception/dining area is very basic and closes arly every evening. The guest house charges 3% for any payment by credit or debit card We moved after a few days and found much better and much cheaper accommodation. As I say, sadly I really couldn’t recommend this guest house to anyone

Me and my girlfriend stayed here in the start of December and we loved it! We originally booked for 4 night but ended up staying for 6. The offer a really good breakfast where you get to chose a set meal which comes with coffee and fresh orange juice. Would highly recommend the omelette! Even though the hotel is located in the middle of the island this can be a plus it means you have equal distance to all beaches and you are very close to the main Street. They offer a free taxi service to where ever your going the island and the guys who drive the taxi are some of the nicest people I've met! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with apsalutely everything. Cleaning was impeccable. The rooms are small but they were perfect for us! The also have free snorkling equipment and beach mats which you can take with you for the day, this was a great plus not needing to rent them! Can't recommend this place enough, they will go out of there way to make your holiday the best it can be. Thank you for a great stay! …

I've been to Thailand three times for a total of 6 months. Noi is probably the best budget hotel I've ever stayed in. The rooms are big, comfortable, clean, and the AC works great. The common area is very cozy as well. The staff are very helpful. The best part is the value. They offer free breakfast with several options. All are well cooked, with generous portions as well as juice and coffee. They also offer free taxi to anywhere on the island. The going rate is 100 baht per ride, so this was a great added value to our stay. It is centrally located and a quick walk from everywhere. I will be back ASAP.

I stayed at The Noi for four nights. The staff are very friendly and offer to drive you anywhere you want on the island, especially Ning! It’s a 10 minute walk from everywhere and nice and quiet + great beds. It’s not super fancy but that’s not what we were looking for. I’d stay here again.

We spent two great days in Koh Lipe at The Noi Guest House. The staff is very, very friendly and whereever you plan to go, they are ready to drive you there by motorbike. They even waited for 1,5 hrs for us when we waited to pass the immigration upon arrival. Due to bad weather we came one day later than planned and the receptionist insisted that we got another night for free. Our travel schedule didn't allow that so we agreed that we could get free meals instead. A very kind gesture - the bad weather wasn't their fault. Noi is located in the middle of the island, so it's close to everything. Yet, it's a quiet area, so not much besides the motorbikes and some backyard chickens to disturb you. Most rooms are located on the first floor with a quite steep staircase. Rooms are clean but quite tiny and closet space is limited. Efficient air conditioning helped our Northern skin to cool down after a day on the beach. There's multiple hammocks available in the open area. Their breakfast is quite good too. Overall, a good place to stay for a few days, but we would run out of space if we stayed for a week.…
