Set in a quiet location against turquoise waters and a sandy beach, we enjoyed our stay so much we extended our stay twice and ended up staying nine days instead of three. We stayed in one of the basic beachfront bungalows (bungalow 1). There is a fan, no air-conditioning, but a cooling breeze blows from the sea 90% of the time. There is no hot water, but after a warm day out snorkelling even a cool shower is very welcome. The included (free) breakfast is a choice of tea/coffee, fruit, juice and either toast with either margarine and jam or toast with eggs. There is also an excellent Burmese/Thai restaurant (Forever Restaurant) at the hill, just opposite the entrance to Pitiusas. Snorkelling masks and beach towels were loaned to us for free and there are plenty of colourful fish in the coral just off the beach. The same breeze that brings cooling relief unfortunately also carries a lot of plastic rubbish in from the sea. However, the resort owners clean all the litter from the beach each day, so that’s a net positive for the resort and it’s owners. From the main town Walking Street area Pitiusas can be reached by a short 100 Baht sidecar-taxi ride, or if you’re not carrying luggage then it’s a pleasant 20 minute walk to the end of Pattya beach and then a short road over the hill to the other side of the Isaland. I wouldn’t recommend walking the interior road along the island as it’s quite unattractive.…

I have been too many 5 star hotels around the world. Still, arriving at The Cliff makes an expression, walking down the stair too the restaurant and the beech is a “wow” moment that will make memories. It is an immensely beautiful small hotel with its own private beach. I can not talk for all the rooms, but you will be very comfortable at all the 9 rooms with ocean view. Me and my girlfriend stayed in a room with a pool, and it was magnificent. The view from terrace and pool is fantastic. Surprisingly the hotel has complementary snorkeling trips with longtail boat, massage and more. The is also complementary snorkeling, kayaking and other equipment. The staff is very friendly and the manager Charlie made the visit perfect by tipping us about deserted beaches that we could kayak. …

This resort is such an amazing place to stay. It has a wonderful atmosphere and has everything you might need for a relaxed holiday. The owner is super friendly and the staff is equally nice, they helped us with everything we requested. It is a way out of the center and the walking street, but for 50 baht you can hop in a taxi and they take you wherever you need to go. Adds to the peacefulnes of the holiday, in my opinion. The deluxe bungalow is very comfortable. There are three of them next to eachother and they have a view of the ocean just over the roof of the restaurant and kitchen down below. Perfect placement as this gives you great privacy. The other bungalows looked even more spectacular, being up on poles and seperate from neighbouring bungalows. The beach and the area around are amazing, just perfect for relaxing! Away from the other busy beaches on the island, this is where you want to be. Sometimes people from outside the resort also visit this beach, but there was always enough space for everyone. It is also a fun activity to walk into the nature to the left of the resort on low tide, gives a real deserted island feeling! Last but not least I want to recommend the awesome yoga classes. There were no other attendees so we could decide ourselves what we wanted to focus on, how long the class was, etc. Wonderful teacher and maybe the best spot on earth to do yoga! Went here for dinner, the place is amazing. Great view, great beach. The food was really good and the dessert was so tasteful. Staff was super friendly. We can highly recommend this place. Amazing place

Wow! This little piece of paradise will charge you In so many ways!! Its unique beauty and silence is just mind blowing! I come here every year with my family to meet my boyfriend. The bungalows are so nice with the best view just next to the jungle, close to nature! The beach is relaxing and beautiful snorkeling can be done, seeing all the sealife and corals. The restaurant ist SO GOOD! Best breakfast bowls and juices! The paradise offers private massages and yoga flows too!! The vibe ist just the best! Also all the pitiusas team is so friendly and helpful! Highly recommend this magical place

Pitiusas is 12 bungalows, a restaurant and a very nice beach. Bungalows are basic, could be more clean and breakfast could be better. But that is not what you pay for, you pay for beautiful view from bungalows and restaurant, great atmosphere and uncrowded beach. The reef just by the beach offers great snorkling. Food is good and spanish owner plays great music. This is the place to choose in Lipe!

Tho and Eddie (truly a gourmet chef maestro!) Were our gracious Tropical hosts. Having grown up on an island, these guys know how to treat their guests! Great underwater scenery on this private beach with ALL equipment provided... Long boat pilot on the staff (He moores up off the beach.) and EVERYTHING YOU NEED IS RIGHT HERE! Steven had the best six days of Thailand right here, a hour from Malaysia!

Im going to start with that private beach. This is the best! In comparation for example to sunrise,or sunset beach,in pitiusas you have your own paradise just for yourself! Rooms are simple,but clean. Breakfast is pretty good. We had really relaxing stay there.

We traveled 3 weeks in South East Asia and we were looking for less crowded place were we can relax between our travel. It was great location,very excluded from rest of the island. Also great place for snorkelling. The breakfast was served all day so we didn't have to rush and come to eat when we want too. At night when restaurant was closed there was always access to the fridge with cold drinks what we could come and take it and alert the staff in the morning to bill to us. The only think that I have to add it that we stayed in bungalow with fan but wasn't enough for us and I was struggling with temperature at night, and some of the local staff could be a bit more approachable and friendly, but the owner Tao was great and made up for any shortcomings. I could definitely choose that place again without any hesitation. …

We stayed in this place 9 nights and was the right choice. Few bungalows with fan (was enough) and 3 with aircon, so not a very busy place when full, and the bungalow are really nice with an awesome view, hammock and big bathroom but remember you are on a far away island so can’t get every comfort so no hot water for shower but you actually don’t need that. Private beach with amazing sunset and reef!!! You just need to swim a bit and get a awesome free snorkeling in the reef and you can actually get the snorkeling equipment for free if you are a guest, how awesome?! Very good breakfast served ANY TIME so you can feel in holiday without waking up too early for it! 5 minute walk from Pattaya beach and 10 min walk from the busy walking street. Tao the owner is an amazing person and his Thai staff as well, if you need anything you just need to ask! Back again for sure! If you stay in Koh Lipe I suggest you to go for it!…
