They transformed an old palace to an Hotel and it's very good. Stayed for one night with a colleague, booked for a twin room but since there was not wi-fi in that room, they kindly changed to two single rooms, thanks again for this. Rooms are nice and comfortable and breakfast is enough. They also have a nice sitting area...

We stayed at the castle 2 nights and enjoyed the place. In center of small town almost neighbor to the Burg Neustadt-Glewe. The castle hotel is well kept with a variety of rooms and also rooms in an Annex. There is no garden to walk or relax. The castle is clean and have a basement restaurant set up in a...

This hotel was booked for us by our travel agent, who didn't mention that there were two very different room styles!! We were given our rooms in the annex, which is in a separate building. It is quite comfortable, but not quite the Palace experience we thought we were going to have. On talking with management, they were able to...

Please be sure if you book the place to stay at the main building , because we had the room in another building, and it is very average place. Breakfast is not big, for 3 stars. Town is very lovely, next to the castle . Rooms are big and clean, bathroom is good )

The hotel is close to a road which can make some rooms, including the one we had, a bit noisy. The building as such is nice with a special "castle feeling". The room we had (nr 10) is very large with a sofa, two armchairs and a small table. The beds are comfortable but a bit on the soft side....

Dear Bjorn, thank you for your rating and the related suggestions. Most 4* hotels charge 14 EUR and more for the breakfast, so they also can offer much more than our hotel, which only takes 9 EUR for the breakfast. But we are working on a new breakfast buffet to impress our guests. If there is a travel group with...

We stopped here over night on our way to Berlin. We picked this hotel because it is right off the A24 motorway in a small town. And what a pleasant surprise it was. It's located in the center of town in a small charming castle with an annex next to it. On arrival we were greeted by very helpfull and...

The small town of Neustadt-Glewe was founded in the 13th century and seemed to be quite wealthy in earlier centuries due to its metal works. The later decline in the 20th century means that we have a small city with an old city center, still recovering and still renovating the old houses and removing the inappropriate concrete buildings from the...

I was there to get a few hours of sleep. But everything went fine. The reception was waiting for me when I arrived at 1am. The room was comfortable. Breakfast in the early morning was also good. Would recommend if you're in the area.

We only stayed here for one night and in fact stayed in the annexe just to the side of the main hotel due to a wedding booking the main building. No issues at all, the room was huge and had everything you'd expect. The windows have limited opening bars across them which for a warm day / night I thought...

Traveled here for business being conducted nearby, and probably should have stayed a little further away in a bigger town. While the hotel itself was interesting, a former castle, it was definitely not the most comfortable place to stay by American standards. Unfortunately, no one working at the hotel spoke English. This is definitely not a complaint, as I realize...
