Stayed here before a days birding in the Desert. It is just outside town on a small hill with a good view in the day time (although at night I found it a little difficult to find). Room was great with raised beds - the likes of which I had not seen before. Food was possibly a bit overpriced but... More

Pulled in almost at dusk after a hard drive from Marrakesh. The owner, Ali, received us warmly, invited us to enjoy tea as we watched the last of the sunset over the valley below. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Ali is also clearly alert to the natural environment, directing us to good birding spots nearby (his photos of local wildlife... More

Pleasant hotel, located on the hill overlooking the village. Staff was very pleasant, good English spoken. There is a large communal sitting area with good wifi, which makes a nice place to hang out. We had pleasant meals here, and also the breakfast is good. The rooms we had were lavishly decorated, a bit 1000 and 1 nights feeling. As... More

Great view positioned above the town, rooms spacious, quiet and clean, hot water on demand. Food good and service efficient and friendly. Ask for a table by the windows overlooking the town, alcohol (lager) available.

The hotel is well located, a little pricey for what it is. Noisy at night when guests enjoy themselves when you try to sleep. The breakfast is very good and so is the dinner. The recommended rooms (25 and 26) are terrible but some may like them....

We chose this riad primarily for it's location (convenient for seeing some desert birds), but were extremely impressed with the helpful attitude of the staff and so ended up staying a second time on our return journey. The rooms are fine - spacious, clean and we had a balcony with a great view overlooking the town, also plenty of hot... More

, No luxury but clean and what atmosphere! Wiew to the village and the valley below, and on the plateau on which it is good to walk. The staff is very friendly, Mustapha is a great montain guide, trekking organizers of one to several weeks with very good organisation. Tamtam evenings in the common room are very livable.

As a birdwatcher, I realized, that this hotel had a good reputation among fellow birdwatchers, for decades. It is indeed perfectly located a little outside Boumalne, not far from the start of the famous Tagdilt track. The owners have long and good experience running this hotel, and we had nothing to complain about regarding the meals, the room and the... More

Quiet and comfortable, food nothing special. Problems with the plumbing - lack of hot water, lack of any water including toilets. Location is everything and worth staying a few days. Room had a balcony with view over town. Hotel is away from town and from some directions appears to be isolated. Public areas nicely decorated, staff attentive. Well positioned for... More

Stayed here for the second time recently, and had a comfortable night with good food. Rooms are relatively basic, but comfortable enough - only real fault was intermittent hot water pressure, but that's not uncommon in Morocco! On my previous visit our room was pretty cold overnight (in February), but this wasn't an issue this year, and I guess maybe... More
