The hotel is in a village a few miles outside St Hubert and there isn't much else nearby. The setting is beautiful, with buildings on each bank of a small river (the Poix) linked by a private bridge. The river valley is quite deep though, so there are lots of steps (and no lift) and it wouldn't be suitable for... More

The hotel has 2 sides. The main reception area where the reception and the much appreciated restaurant is located. The 2nd side is by the train station on the other side of the river and it is connected to the main side by a small bridge. We had a double room on the new side (by the station). The rooms... More

I'm hesitant about my rating : We will be definitely coming back, because we really loved the surroundings : it's a perfect spot for looong walks in the forest or on the riverbank - beautiful nature! The hotel is located in a small ardenese village, overlooking a charming river where's nothing to do but walk/cycle around:-) The noise of passing... More

My wife and I stayed here for 4 days. This charming hotel is beautifully located at Poix-Saint-Hubert, some 5 kilometers from Saint-Hubert and easy to reach. Rooms are clean, simple and comfortable and have nice views. Staff is very friendly. There is a very good restaurant on site with excellent wines; here you choose your wine directly from the cellar... More

We booked this hotel Last minute for a long weekend away. We stayed there 2 nights. upon arriving into what was supposed to be our room, we heard the next door neighbours talk so went back to reception to see if we could have another room and we could. The rooms are almost perfectly clean (spiderwebs in corners) and well... More

This is a very simple hotel. 60euro per night breakfast included. The room was clean but a little bit aged. Nice people have welcomed me. The breakfast is nominal. The Reception close around 22:00 so if you arrive late make a call in advance.

This hotel is between Brussels and Luxembourg, off the highway but convenient to get to, and surprisingly charming and rustic. No elevators so climb to the top rooms, but its worth it for a quiet peaceful stream view. Great place if you are an urbanite and just want to get away from it all for a couple of days. A... More

We stayed one night at this Hotel and I still can't find a justification for the price we paid. Accommodation is roomy probably recently refurbished but very basic with quiet old piece of furniture, no Internet, TV is as big as a post stamp. Ok maybe the location invites you to spend more time out of your room but what... More

Local venison, trout mushrooms, and vegetables, as well as cheese and beer from nearby producers, makes dinner ar Val de Poix a vital part of the stay. A calm hotel of zen-like simplicity, by a river and walking distance from station with trains to Brussels every couple of hours.

good location when you like nature and walking. Not for eldier peiople. No elavator. Nice bar. Graet choice of Belgian beers. Restaurant with good locat specialties. When you pay "full rate" , it's quite expensive. But a lot of reductions are available. Then price/quality is very good.
