We didn't have too much time to enjoy the facilities here as we were on a busy business schedule arriving well after midnight. The sky in the area was beautiful as there are few streetlights that time of night (for the astronomers among you). The room I had overlooked the pool and had a view to the east so there...

In the centre of the small town Chateau Chinon, this hotel has a pleasant ambience with all useful amenities. For us, that means particularly restaurant and free wifi access. Our room was upstairs with a very pleasant outlook over the nearby valley (though access by the staircase was steep and narrow). The bathroom and all facilities were clean and well...

fairly basic but comfortable. The bathroom was the biggest disappointment with the smallest shower cubicle I think I have ever experienced. There wasn't space to even bend down - I had to open the door to wash my feet! I wouldn't mind having to stay here again but I would definitely look for somewhere better first.

The hotel rooms are clean and bright. Rooms 15, 16 and 17 have the view over the mountains, facing the morning sun. We liked Room 15 and were told it was François Mitterand’s favorite room (he was mayor of Chateau-Chinon before being elected president of France). We found the hotel restaurant too creative and trendy for our taste, not serving...

A cursory welcome by a young gentleman who handed me our key whilst off to do something else, saying, 'deuxieme etage'. Our room was up two flights of very steep shabby stairs. No one offered to help us with our luggage and we are not young! The room was cramped with an uncomfortable bed. Dinner, served in the well appointed...

A charming property found on the main route through Chateau-Chinon. There is a car park to the right of the property, perfect for cars, not so great if your on big motorcycles! Thankfully my partner is very adept at moving big bikes, but it bears thinking about. Our host was right in the middle of lunch service for a coach...

I came to this hotel with a group of friends for one night. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and very comfortable. The staff are friendly. Although we have booked the wrong night to stay, they managed to do the necessary for us. They are flexible to adapt to our needs. The whole stay made me feel comfy.

Nice situated hotel in not so exciting city. The staff is very friendly. We stayed here 1 night mainly due to the excellent restaurant. We had diner twice. We expected also a great breakfast, but that was rather a disappointment. We recommend the restaurant strongly.

We welcome guests to spacious, well-lit, fully-renovated rooms, several of which look onto the surrounding countryside. All are equipped with full bathroom facilities (bath or shower, WC) cable TV and internet and offer a complete guarantee of peace and tranquility. A charming traditional family hotel in the centre of Château-Chinon in which some of the rooms and the panoramic dining room look onto the hills and valleys of the Morvan.
