If you didn't have bed begs before, there is a good chance you will be going home with them after a stay here. The building is a stunning character piece, however the whole place is literally falling down. Walls throughout and in the rooms are cracked and peeling. The furniture throughout is tired and worn (I get the antique look,...

Like other reviewers I can only feel sorry for this ancient building. We stayed in Emma's room. The first thing that amazes you is the size of the key. The building and room contain all the very old oak and wonkiness that you would hope for in a place like this. Unfortunately the the decor is very tired - paper...

The standard room allocated to us by virtue of our groupon deal was sub standard in the old stable block. Albeit that on booking we had requested an upgrade, none was available. Following refusal to accept the standard room we were offered the "bridal suite" (room 11) for an additional £25.00 per night. What could have been a magnificent room...

My husband and I were staying nearby and decided to call in for a Sunday roast. We were told chicken was the only choice of meat (we arrived just after 12 o'clock ). I opted for a pie with new potatoes and vegetables whilst my husband had the chicken. How disappointing to be served up such a sorry looking lunch...

Completely didn't get what i was expecting. Ended up sleeping in an outhouse, nearly an inch gap around the door. Nothing quaint about it. Booked a hotel room.. Got the converted shed. The mai building looked great.

I booked a room at the Scole Inn as I had a booking in the area for that night (I'm a paranormal investigator.) Having let the hotel know in advance that I may be returning in the early hours, they were most accommodating and ensured I had a key for the main door. My room was beautiful - incredibly spacious...

Very old building full of character. ..huge fireplaces, uneven floors, old pictures, old furniture pieces. Fourposter s d very comforyable bed. Sadly poor quality staff, though helpful when prompted. English breakfast and evening meal satisfactory. Appearance suggests business cannot afford necessary maintenance programme. A pity.

Just back from a 2 night stay with groupon,we were totally taken in by the character and whole experience aspect of the scole inn.I personally felt it was mis leading on making our booking because it seems that you can upgrade which is within the building but if you don't then you are automatically in the outbuildings!!! I did ring...
