Great lodge:excellent value for money!Great location,just off the Mombassa-Nairobi highway and close to the entrance of the Tsavo East park and Ngutuni game reserve,just south of the town of Voi.Fantastic staff,excellent food and wonderful garden with free standing bungalows.And the best of all:birdcalls from early morning to night since the garden is so full of them(from parrots to owls)Several staffmembers... Good food, clean rooms, excellent service. Great refreshing view and a lot of birdwatching. The swimming pool is clean. The staff are friendly and very hospitable.its a great place to relax over a long trip. We chose the self cooking option, and they provided the ingredients and jiko and we had a chef and a helper.it was a great day... More

Having arrived very late to Sagala Lodge for our Christmas holiday, my hubby, kids and i were welcomed warmly by very good staff. We spent Christmas week here and it exceeded my expectations. The lodge is beautiful, clean, inviting, friendly and nicely located at just 2km from Mombasa-Nairobi highway. Nice garden in front of Sagala hills.You can enter Tsavo East NP at Voi (12 Km) and Tsavo West at Tsavo Gate (60 Km).Service is o.k also pool ,but if you dont get a refurbished cottage :very poor ! Except birds no wildlife..Nearby you find better value at Ngutoni Lodge or Voi Wildlife Lodge (adjactend to Tsavo East with plenty... More

On arrival we were shown to our rooms, which were at the furthest edge of the lodge. Two adjoining room in one lodge building. The rooms were grim, dark, the bathrooms full of cracked tiles and just miserable. Bat droppings and staining decorated the outside walls and added to the grotty feel.
