This property has everything you could need for a great stay. The property is well maintained, well organized, and secure. Check in was super easy, and the river side unit we had was amazing. The unit was very clean, spacious and had a great view of the river. All the furniture in the unit, fridge, stove and microwave were in...

The perfect resort to book for a Krugerpark visit. We stayed here for 7 days in a beautifully 2 bedroom self catering unit with pond view. The resort offeres many pools, tennis courts, mini golf and game viewing hides with lovely walk ways. Only 15minutes away from Crocodile Brigde Gate of the KNP, well worth a visit and stay. WE...

Was the most revitalizing trip ever especially how stunning Was the scenery was. Our cabin was right by the hide which made it even more stunning. The most amazing thing is that it's directly opposite the kruger national park

My brother in law left a bottle of liquor he purchased at Ngwenya and I would like to say a huge thank you to Bongani for assisting me in getting it returned. He provided excellent communication in letting me know that the bottle had been found and in assisting me with communication between myself and the gentleman who sells it...

Overlooking the Crocodile River, from which the resort takes its name, Ngwenya provides all the magic of the jungle in style and comfort. The gardens are exceptional and the thatched chalets all have a river or lakeside view. It is mainly for self catering travellers but there is a restaurant, several pools, tennis courts and children's entertainment. Great base for...

We had the most amazing view of the Kruger Park and a 180 degrees of the Crocodile River, hippo, crocodile, elephant, rhino, waterbuck and the most amazing collection of birds all day long. Clean resort, efficient reception, helpful staff to offload our supplies and provide daily cleaning service. Acceptable restaurant, and other amenities. What a fantastic way to relax and...

We stayed in a one bedroom unit, on the river, with a sleeper couch for 2 in the lounge. Firstly, the good: It's close to Kruger park. The view across the Crocodile River into Africa's greatest park is fabulous, especially if the unit you have is riverfront, There is always something of interest, a basking croc, hippo wallowing, waterbuck, and...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Ngwenya Lodge is situated on the southern tip of the world-renowned Kruger National Park. This means that visitors don’t even have to leave the resort to see a huge variety of game species – including the famous Big Five. The river view chalets overlook a scenic floodplain, which allows for magnificent views of the area where the big cats often hunt. Our Dam and Bush view chalets are set back on the property and also have beautiful views, as they overlook tranquil dams or bush areas. Game viewing hides make game viewing on the riverfront accessible to all – so no one misses out on spotting any of their favorite wild animals. Holiday in the luxury you’re used to… The units have fully equipped kitchens with a stove, fridge, freezer and a microwave. Each unit has a television and an undercover veranda with patio table, chairs and a braai, for unforgettable get-togethers with family and friends. Ngwenya’s on-site facilities include a pub, a beauty salon with a wide range of treatments, a curio shop, a small convenience shop, 6 outdoor swimming pools, 18 hole Mini Golf course, 2 tennis courts, trampolines, jungle gyms, a games room with pool tables, table tennis, Playstations with Xbox Kinnect, a kiddies room with various board games, puzzles, and kids movies. We can’t wait for you to visit us. ... more   less
