This is a wonderful place to stay. It's close to crocodile bridge gate if you wish to go into Kruger national park. If not, just make sure you have a unit with a river view so you can sit on your veranda and watch the game come down to drink at the river Our unit was spotlessly clean on arrival... More

Fabulous as always ! Unit overlooking Crocodile river ( never seen it so low ) . Facilities are exceptional , except for one area . The Bar has no atmosphere whatsoever , and the barman never looks happy or pleased to see guests . His political views were not asked for and unwelcome, comments about the ' Old Regime' were... We were lucky enough to spot 2 of the BIG 5 species from the balcony, before even entering the Kruger National Park!! Such a magical place, situated right on the banks of the Crocodile River. Home to such species as: - African lions - Cape buffaloes - Nile crocodiles - White rhinos - Hippos - Giraffes - African elephants -... More

I recently visited Ngwenya Lodge for the first time and i was extremely disappointed. I was disappointed that i had never been here before. We visit Kruger Park every year and we always spend a few days at a lodge outside the gate of the Kruger Park. In August we spent 3 nights at Ngwenya Lodge and it will definitely... More

My second visit to Ngwenya Lodge can be described as a: " basket full of gold" The excellent location, well maintained gardens, units, and other infra structure is like gold in that basket. This gold includes all the dedicated staff members. Well done management.

From the time of arrival to the end of our stay i cannot remember seeing an unhappy staff member. We had a four bedroom chalet with views of the Crocodile River, the accommodation was spotless and very well maintained. whilst waiting for our chalet we decided to go to one of the viewing decks. we had something to eat which... My wife and myself arrived at Ngwenya 17 October 2016 after a fairly long trip up through Swaziland. At check-in we were welcomed with a choice of refreshments and opted for the refreshing champagne and orange juice. Not long after we had our keys and were at our chalet. The unit was lovely and clean but unfortunately no view. Fortunately... More

The chalets are spacious and well maintained and well equipped. The resort itself is well maintained. As we traveled into the Kruger Park each day we did not see much of the resort, left before sunrise and came back after sunset. The restaurant is a bit of a let down.
