Wonderful seafood feast! Good service. Not cheap but it's fish like in the "old days" fresh and delicious. Generous portions and lovely Portuguese rolls too. Across the border from Mozambique but even better than being there. Worth a visit.

Great affordable guest house - owners / staff very welcoming, big room that was absolutely spotless with good, solid furniture in great condition and in a quiet and secure location. We arrived late at the Tambarina Guest House and where heartily welcomed there. After a long motorbike tour from Mozambique we got two clean and well maintained rooms, luckily got space in the marvelous restaurant and enjoyed a splendid dinner. Well worth the price for both and an exceptional service! We both give an Outstanding for that location. The matter...

Tambarina is an ideal overnight pitstop close to the SA/Moz border. The accommodation is comfortable, the room was spacious and hd a tv, fridge and kettle. The on-site restaurant is great - it has a nice outside eating area, good choice on the menu and the food is very tasty - so very convenient if you've been on the road...

We have been working in Komati for two weeks & spent the last one in Tamarina, having eaten in the restaurant the previous week.
