We stayed at the Greenwood Lodge and Motel for a night before catching the bus to Deer Lake. We chose it as it was economical and the surroundings sounded pleasant. The motel is set on a large, green piece of property. It clearly is a 2 star motel but interestingly quirky. The service was prompt, friendly and helpful. We were...

Although clean enough, this premises provides only the absolute bare necessity in room amenities. The room we had was one double bed, one dresser, one desk, one chair for the desk. The room did have a tv, mini fridge, microwave but no coffee maker for coffee and the glasses left were plastic cups for tap water. The bed was not...

We rented the two bedroom cabin in the back for five days . There is a small bar in the basement but we didn't hear any noise from there at all as it just serves a few locals. Maybe the person who complained about drunks was staying at another motel because the only noise I heard was from the fridge...

Located in a park like setting the place is in need of some refurbishing. Staff are beyond friendly but rooms are small and cramped but clean. Water pressure is almost too much. A fridge and micro are provided while WiFi is good. There was no A/C in our room. All inside halls with two rooms with outside doors for handicapped....

Old & outdated but great customer service!! The furnishings were mediocre though poorly appointed was very clean. Towels were good, the bathroom was spotless, and the staff was friendly! For the price, it's a perfectly fine place to stop for the night. free wifi and parking.

Myself & my husband stayed at the cozy cabin for 2 weeks this month, It was one of our best trips to nfld, where we are from originally. The staff treated us nice & the manager, Don went out of his way to meet our every need. The place is clean, The grounds are absolutely beautiful & it is close...

This was a real disappointment - we were not looking for luxury or amenities of a "multiple" star hotel - However some basic things need to be improved. The hallways are very tired and smelled a bit musty. The room was extremely small - only about 10" between end of bed and the armoire holding the TV. We turned on...

We've stayed here a couple of times during our visit. The motel is old but the rooms are clean and the water pressure amazing. Tip for anyone booking..tell them you want a room upstairs as they are more modern and have A/C. The rooms downstairs are nowhere as nice. We also brought in our extension cord for the nights we...

My dad and I stayed for a week while visiting family. We found it a bit hard to find the motel, as it was hidden in down a street and a small sign was all directing you. When we walked in, the service was great. We were checked in and given our room in no time. I had mixed feelings...

The service here is great. The staff made sure we had everything we needed. Could leave as often as you like and come back late. Most places don't let you do that. We had a great stay here. Can't wait to do it again.
