We went to the Kew Mae Pan Nature Trail. The hike took around 2 hours but wasn't difficult. Nice ambience in the cloud forest. There are signs with information about cloud forest as an ecosystem. Amazing panoramic view on the top, remember to keep warm especially in early morning.

We booked this tour through Touch Chiang Mai (CM221). However, this tour was consolidated with other tours and made up our group tour of approximately 13 people. The tour guide explain this all to us up front. The trip consisted of visiting beautiful waterfalls, a village, the highest point in Thailand, and the Doi Inthanon National Park. Driving through the... More

The Doi Inthanon national park has the highest mountain in thailand, that is 2565 meter high, and has a few waterfalls that can be visited. The summit is easily accesible with the car/motorbike, but in my opinion visiting the summit is not worth the 9 km drive. The summit is not really a peak from where one can have a... More

Me and my boyfriend went up there want to trek the beautiful trail but ended up finding it was closed. Also Kiw Mae Pan (The trail on the way to Doi Inthanon) was closed. Maybe it's just we did not go there on the right time. A lil bit disappointed.

We covered a lot of ground on this one day visit ... we went up to the peak, went to the royal pagodas, visited a hilltribe village, and also checked out a couple of waterfalls ... we had a great private tour/car service - Mr Chai is our guide / driver - he speaks perfect English and genuinely a nice... A serious hill climb for any car. Unfortunately low cloud cover prevented us seeing any spectacular views but a great experience nevertheless. 10 degrees cooler than the city of Chiang Mai. You might need a jacket!

It is a challenge of driver and partner. Driving up to top of the highest at 2,565 meters under temperature 14 degrees. Try to living with low temperature, misty, raining in low season, can not see sunshine at all. Once in life.
