Very nice and picturesque hotel. The staff are friendly and available. This cosy place is the perfect spot to relax after a day of rides at Walibi Holland. Besides, the rooms are comfortable and I enjoyed breakfast there.

Above sais it all! The very nice, large farm like hotel is situated in nature, below the water level. Greenfields and woods all around. the Veluwe Meer close by. Anything you want to do, sailing, hunting or playing golf is close. The rooms are spacious en very comfortable..

We arrived mid-Afternoon to eventually be ‘greeted’ by a stern young man on reception who requested payment on check-in. Unorthodox but we obliged. We were informed that after 11pm the reception was unmanned.

We’d paid for a superior room (#41) but aside from a little more space and a bathtub was far from ‘superior’ and lacked tea & coffee facilities. In addition the air circulator was faulty.

The hotel has a shotgun school and hosts corporate events and it was this aspect that marred what would have been an acceptable stay. Those enjoying the corporate hospitality retired from the bar at just after 1am and everyone knew it! One individual was locked out and proceeded to batter the door below our room to gain access. Then we had other persons running about on the corridor/ room above. About as far from a Peaceful stay as one could wish which was a shame as the hotel is in a delightful spot.

I called at reception to ask for a manager but alas none were on duty although the receptionist did offer for one to call me but no call was received.

The reason for two stars was purely down to a very obliging young man in the restaurant who looked after us a treat, otherwise it would have been one.

Management; if you’re going to ply your corporate guests with drink as long as they can stand have the decency to shepherd them to bed. You should be ashamed of Your dereliction of responsibility to your other guests.

I loved this hotel. Although it was slightly hard to find in the dark, it was in a beautiful location. If you arrive in the day, there are lots of signs, but we definitely could not see them in the dark and had no idea where are sat nav had taken us as it said our destination was a bit down the road. The hotel is in a lovely location and it had a great view of the flat green landscape from the breakfast room. There is a bar and a restaurant. They leave a menu in your room which is in Dutch so you can ask for an English one at reception. We were there on Easter and they had a bowl of small Easter eggs. The room was nice and the beds were comfy but it was a bit small for 2 people. The hotel is around 45-60 mins drive from Schipol airport. We went into Amsterdam one day and the hotel staff told us some helpful tips as we wanted to park and then catch a train to the centre. It was overall a really nice hotel and I would recommend a stay here.

Dear Chiara D, Thank you for your message. Lovely to read you had a great stay in our hotel. I can imagine that it's hard to see the signs in the dark area surround the hotel. Luckily this was better when the sun arises. We are always trying to anticipate on the events like Easter and to us, Easter eggs are indispensable. I hope you had great days in the Netherlands and we would love to welcome you in our hotel again. Kind regards, Joram Pol

I arrived at the hotel and was pleasantly surprised at the size and complexity of the location which is in a very unpopulated and naturally beautiful area 40 mins drive East of Schiphol airport. I shall start with the hotel first. The receptionist spoke perfect English, as do all staff that I met. They required a copy of my passport, then quickly completed booking in and gave me my room pass. I have been to a fair few hotels and can honestly say that this ranks amongst the best. Everywhere is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. There is a nature theme running throughout the hotel and adjoining complex. A taxidermists heaven, also many lovely wildlife pictures. This isn't to say that it would be a wildlife lovers heaven also, as there is a strong "Hunting and shooting" theme which might upset some. The room was spacious, clean and filled with practical furniture. There is a Television, with English channels, wi-fi is available. There is no fridge, minibar, or tea making facilities in the rooms. Plug sockets are standard euro 2-pin type, so bring an adaptor if you want to charge phones etc. The bed was comfortable and the pillows adequate. The bathroom had none of teh normal toiletries, it did however have squeezy bottles on th ewall in the shower and by the sink with some gel liquid within. The toilet is separate to the bathroom, again clean and practical.
Moving downstairs is a bar with a good selection of drinks, large screen TV, huge sofa's and again, wildlife pictures. Just round from the bar is a restaurant come breakfast room. Breakfast consisted of euro style meat, bread, eggs, cake??, etc. There is a cereal bar with just about everytype of museli etc going as well as things to sprinkle on such as goji berries etc, yoghurts fresh fruit too! Plenty of choices for tea and coffee. One of the best breakfasts I have enjoyed.
Moving outside, the hotel form part of an outdoor adventure centre, one of those "Executive Bonding" type places, spead over a vast area. There are 4 wheel driving, quad bike driving building raft challenges, golf, clay pigeon shooting etc etc, I saw wild horses and cows too! There is a hunting lodge which is the main restaurant, a huge facility, again adorned with many stuffed animals, probably shot on this site too! I loved sitting by the roaring log fire in the evening enjoying a cold beer. The food is stunning and the waitresses couldn't do enough for you. Very hard working and attentive girls. I tried the game choice which was 5 types of game with suitable veg. The plate was a large oval plate twice the size of a normal dinner plate, the food was amazing. Adjoining the Restaurant is clay shooting ranges, also large comfortable seating areas on several sides to chat and watch the sun go down.
Behind the hotel is a bike shed, normally left open where you can just hop on a bike and go tour the area. In all a thoroughly relaxing and pleasant stay and I couldn't recommend it more highly.

It was a lovely stay and the breakfast was incredible. The property is beautiful and the hotel room was very cozy and spacious! The woman at the reception in the morning was not that helpful but that was okay.

We stayed here last week. The staff is really friendly, it was no bother for a late check-in, as we arrived just before 10pm. The rooms are spaces, clean and the beds are so comfy to sleep it. There is a nice bar as well, with a good choice of beers available.
The breakfast is fantastic, with such a variety of what you can eat. I would recommend anyone to stay there.

My experience at this hotel was not even close to reasonable. My friend and I spent the day at the Walibi amusement park. When it started to rain and everything was closing, we decided that it would be too difficult to go back home, since we live almost 3 hours away and do not own a car (we came by train). Therefore, we booked a room with a double bed on booking.com because the princess hotel was the closest one to us. Although booking.com gave this hotel an excellent rating, which is why i booked it, it was most definitely not. First of all, the hotel is not close to any bust stops and there are no nearby stores to be able to purchase basic necessities. Although the hotel website says it takes 25 min by foot to get the bus stop, it actually takes approximately 45 minutes walking on grass because there were no sidewalks anywhere. We called the hotel and asked for help getting there but they could not "reach" their driver. Thus, we tried to cancel but they could not help us with that either and neither could booking.com, so they sent a taxi where we had to pay 25 euros for a 10 min ride. Arriving to the hotel, with soaking wet clothes and nothing else to wear, we go up to our room where we find 2 towels and that is ALL. No shampoo, no conditioner, no small toothpaste, shower caps, nothing. So we took a shower without anything to wash our hair and called the reception to ask for some food since we did not have any clothes to wear and could not leave the room. We then found out that they do not have room service even though there is a restaurant menu in the room, and also told us that the kitchen at the restaurant closes at 9 pm. We ask if they have any robes we could borrow but the answer once again is no. We put on our wet clothes and walk to the restaurant which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel, in the dark, because there were no lights and when we get there the cheapest thing on the menu is a 15 euro bolognese pasta that was not even good. We pretty much had to beg to be attended at the restaurant because nobody seemed to care enough to stop and ask us for our order. When we got back to the hotel, the reception was closed and therefore we went through the side entrance which we were told to do. However, our card would not open the door, but thankfully one other guest opened the door to let us in because otherwise we would have been stuck outside in the cold for the whole night. We also paid 20 euros on a bottle of wine but the quality was terrible. We most definitely did not enjoy our stay and I would not recommend it.

Visiting for a golf tournament we spent two days. The hotel has spacious rooms but may need a little touch-up refreshing. Beds and pillows very nice. Really good breakfast and adjacent restaurant has enough to offer at very decent prices. Staff friendly too and we would not hesitate to return
