Was originally planning to stay in Aberyswith but found this B&B on tripadvisor. Its 1 minute from the sea front near the railway station. We had the ground floor room with small ensuite and small patio area. Tea and coffee making facilities available. We were warmly welcomed and introduced to Borth and places to eat. We had a very comfortable...

It's not often that I find somewhere away from home that I sleep as well as I do when at home. The bed was very comfortable, great pillows and a feather duvet where all a bonus, but the best was the energy of Heulwen - obviously a reflection of the lovely hosts. Shirley is a reflexologist and, being therapists ourselves,...

we're just back from a two night stay at this b&b. We went for the Borth Carnival, which was a bit disappointing this year! But our stay at the Heulwen was excellent. We stayed in the ground floor room with our own patio area, which was great to sit and have a late night drink. The room was spotless and...

We stayed for three nights at Heulwen Guest house whilst attending our nieces Graduation. We received a warm welcome from the owners and can recommend staying here if you are coming to Wales. The rooms are clean and well furnished and the breakfast is first class, the owner is full of local knowledge and will also tell you the best...

After a long walk on a hot day, there's nothing better than a cheery welcome from a B&B host and Shirley did just that. She gave us all the necessary info about the room, wifi, places to eat etc and left us to relax. Her home is so close to the railway station (no noise though) and the beach. Although...

Stayed in the top floor Lilac Room with views of the sea and mountains. Large room and sizeable bathroom, but lots of stairs to climb if you are less than able bodied. Spotlessly clean and warm welcoming hosts. Well cooked and very tasty breakfast with fresh fruit salad as well as all the usual cereals.

From arrival to departure you have friendly but not intrusive attention. All questions answered with local Knowledge, Good clean rooms Lots of tea coffee etc plenty of parking, close to the shore where the petrified trees where found. A great base for exploring the welsh coast and countryside.

Part of our 4 days North Wales trip, we stayed at one night at this property. It is one of the best places we ever stayed. We got a feeling of staying in a relatives house. Care is shown and visible in every angle. I stayed with my 8 years and 5 years old daughter and they had room full...

We came to stay at Heulwen during the Easter Holidays for one night as we were visiting my sons adopted monkey at the near by Animalarium zoo. The b&b has a home from home feel with easy parking outside. The family room was ample size for myself, partner and six year old son. The room had a brilliant touch with...
