I just spent two deluxe nights in the silver room. Absolute luxury and very spacious and clean, every detail is covered .Merridy and Michael are wonderful generous hosts and the breakfasts are exceptional. Highly recommended and I will be definitely going back. The gardens are beautiful and town is walking distance .

We stayed three nights in the Silver room. Beautiful place, Merridy had thought of everything, could not have been happier with the accommodation. Peaceful, quiet place to relax and unwind, one street back fro river and shops. The breakfasts were the best bacon poached eggs and muesli and yogurt we have had in a while. Don't miss the homemade jams...

A one night stay at Merridys was a wonderful, cosy and exceptional experience. From arrival with a homely warm welcome placing the 'customers' first to entry into an amazing attic apartment with authentic federation furniture, decorative fabrics the stay was a joy. A hot breakfast on a starched tablecloth with beautiful crockery in a beautiful dining room was a wonderful...

My teenage daughter and I enjoyed two nights at this utterly delightful B and B over a long weekend. We stayed in the Gold suite and it was beautifully decorated, spacious, comfortable, quiet and private. The shower was large and had very good pressure, the beds were lovely and comfortable dressed in quality linen. There was a quiet efficient aircon...

I'm usually prefer to be a bit anonymous when staying in accommodation so when we pulled up outside Merridy's I was concerned that we were going to be staying as a guest in someone's home. However my husband is a giant so we needed a king size bed and Merridy's was the only one in Morpeth, where we needed to...

Top B&B Merridy (owner) nothing is too much trouble for her guests. The room was spotless with a bottle of sherry for those little tipples. The breakfasts were huge and delicious. the surrounds of the B&B were something you would have in England. Very cottagy. I would have no hesitation in telling everybody if you travel that way please stay...
