Tried to organise a youth camp. The person who spoke with us (female) was not very helpful.....so much so we didn't bother to go there.... Not only did we find somewhere else it was even cheaper and accessible to lots of cool things yo do...sorry Ahipara

This is one of the best holiday parks we've been do. The staff at the reception are truly friendly and welcoming. Internet is free and fast. Warm, new showers. Specious place, green and clean. Enjoyed out stay and would be happy to come back. Highly recommended.

Great holiday park with all amenities. There is all types of accommodation available here - camping, self contained vehicles stay, cabins, ensuite cottages. Huge kitchen with lots of dining space (inside/outside), barbeque, tv, lounge, fireplace, many bathrooms and showers. We stayed in a cabin, was basic but good. This was pretty much the only place we could find late night...

First visit to Ahipara for me and my son. We wanted something a bit different and the holiday park appealed to us. So we rented a self-contained cabin. Everything about the property, the grounds and the staff exceeded expectations. A great spot for an 'outdoor' family getaway. Our only concern is with the interior cleanliness of the cabin. It felt...

Stayed for one night in a camper. Good: Very well maintained grounds (great gardening skills!), nice BBQ area, clean and hot showers, good location for beach (but quite a way from town centre/shops, if you want to walk) and all the other usual camp ground amenities. Not quite so good: Lady on reception not very friendly or helpful (was like...

Well it's as it says on the tin. It's a reasonable campsite. The 1 bed self contained cabin we were in was very small and more like a tent with hard walls than anything else. The shower/toilet needed replacing. The bed was comfy. If you want a tent-like stay come here. If you really want a hotel, then don't. Nice...

Beautiful location. Garden sites. Young man at reception very helpful. Don't ask older lady for ice. Not happy in her work. Great atmosphere. Did wonder why everyone was cooking at 5pm because we found out too late no lights over BBQ so we cooked by Braille.

After driving the length of 90 mile beach we were ready to set up for our "Glamping " and enjoy the beautiful evening. We followed the directions to the Holiday Park, turned into it and ... WOW.. what a fabulous entrance, and the rest didn't disappoint. Wonderful facilities , great camp sites and excellent staff members. Can't wait to return...
