We were offered this accommodation after out previous hotel had overbooked, it was sold as four star with a pool.It appears to be a hotel primarily for weddings with some rooms out at the back. Overall the hotel is in need of some repairs, tidying up. Rooms were spacious, a little sparse and lacked warmth. The bathroom was functional, though...

The spacious rooms in the beautiful villa are nice, somehow sparsely furnished, which is probably great, in summer, when it's very hot. We loved the breakfast and the very friendly staff here, which is very helpful and can indicate you the best restaurants nearby.

We are frequent travellers to Sicily and love this place like our second home. We often travel for business and shopping, but this time we simply wished to relax with our young family in the South, visit different beaches, drive around and enjoy the best food in the world. Situated in the country-side in a very private area and recommended...

The rooms are horribly decorated and the shower full of mould. The place might pass as a 1 start location in Summer for desperate tourists, but it should not be let in Winter as the rooms are cold with no proper bedding and no carpets. Furthermore the place is in the middle of nowhere and unless you have a car...

We spent two nights at this hotel in Ispica which is well situated for venturing out for days at the beach and for evenings in the towns of Modica and Scicli (do not miss this). Our rooms were located in an old 17th century villa that sits on a hilltop separate from the main hotel structure which is called Torre...

We decided to return to the Hotel for a weekend visit from Malta with another couple. The effusive Massimo has now moved on, his replacement and previous assistant Sara had broken her foot and therefore the Willowy Stefania was holding the fort, valiantly, despite her lack of experience. We had told our friends not to expect full tourist hotel facilities...

The Hotel Villa Principe di Belmonte is faded and well past it's best. We booked based on reviews, and we were looking forward to our holiday. We arrived at midday, and had a week booked, we should have turned around and left immediately when we saw the peeling paint, damp walls, dirt, unkempt gardens and general air of squalor, but...

Weekend break with friends who had stayed here a year before. Apparently in the 12 months elapsed its lost a bit of color and the wow factor. Still rooms were well appointed, spotlessly clean, cobbled floors are a unique feature but a worry with the small step that had to be navigated to get to the bathroom especially at night....

We stayed at the Villa Principe di Belmonte for a week with Esplora Travel on their 'Montalbano' Tour. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful and we would like to thank Sara and Stephania in reception for looking after us so well and organising lifts into the nearby town of Ispica. Also a big thank you to the...
