I occupied room 17, in May of 2016, and found the room to be basic, but clean. The white linen in particular was spotless. While the place was clean, and comfortable, I thought a few overlooked repairs, went beyond the quaint, and rustic. Our group occupied five rooms between us, all of which were twin, which I was made to...

Stayed here for one night as part of a Balkan tour with Penguin Travel. It's a lovely, interesting place. Very conveniently located right next to the Studenica monastery. Everyone was friendly. Our room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was included- eggs, cheese, bread, tea coffee. We ate dinner here too- fish or kebab/ meat which was also good. You pay...

Next to the Studenica Monastery, very convenient, and appeared to be the only place to stay for the night. Hotel and grounds well maintained. Room, although Spartan, was clean and more than adequate. I had a nice view from my balcony which had a small table--some rooms do not have a balcony. Free WiFi in the lobby; cannot remember if...

Everything is simple here: simple the room, simple the breakfast. But you will find a warm hospitality, everything you may need (free wifi included) and, even if you stay here just for one night, you will appreciate the peace and the beauty of this extraordinary place.

Part of the monastery complex of Studenica, Serbia. You can dine on the terrace, either the fixed half board or a la carte. Very friendly staf, they speak some English, and there is Wifi everywhere. Visit the church for the fresco's and the atmosphere. One of the rules: shorts on the compound are ok, not in the two churches. I...

A no-frills, simple guest house on the grounds of the UNESCO Heritage site of Studenica Monastery. We stayed here one night in April and we liked our experience. A simple but very delicious breakfast was provided in the common dining room. Friendly and amiable staff. The room is simple in decor but rich in atmosphere. We recommend for anyone who...

I stayed here for approximately 3 weeks in September 2013. The rooms are very simple, in part due to it being a religious resting point for pilgrims. The food is nothing fancy, but very, very good and many things are locally sourced. It's right next to the monastery so if you have the right room, the views can be spectacular....

Definitely not a Hilton Hotel. Very old world charm with lots of heave timber and more like a classic ski chalet in design. We had dinner and breakfast here. Food like everything else was simple but adequate. The real reason for staying here is to experience a bit of the monastic life and enjoy the atmosphere of the adjacent monastery....
