We booked this resort last Dec 21-23 2012 because of the good reviews we read here on TA. Their rates were a bit higher than the resort we were supposed to stay at but we got our money's worth at this resort. We, our family of 7 adults and a 9 year old child loved, loved, loved everything about Golden...

If you dont mind a short 2 min walk and a short steep climb along a flight of stairs to the beach then you're in for a lovely and refreshing stay in Bohol. Warm friendly staff who are always accomodating. Those who say ootherwise are probably just lazy slavedrivers. Rooms are spacious. Lawn is well maintained. Pool is small but...

Golden Palm Resort gives one a feeling of being invited to a friend's beautiful guesthouse. There is a clean swimming pool in the middle of a well-manicured garden, beautiful landscape! We were 7 in the group and just came home from a fantastic stay last Oct 30 to Nov 2, 2012. The rooms were tastefully decorated, fairly large with 2...

Would highly recommend this as a place to stay! - peaceful/beautiful pool and garden area - good, reasonably priced food (try the Philippine sausage, tocino!) - sweet, friendly staff - modern, clean rooms (were pleasantly surprised to see lovely crown moulding! Also, proper air con) - close to beach (the few stairs not a problem) but a little removed so...

We stayed here in late August, the low season for the hotel. Despite that it was fully booked on the first night. The great thing was that due to the small size of the resort there was still a feeling of intimacy and personalised service. Michelle (at the bar/reception) was attentive to our every need and the rest of the...
