Staff was sooo nice, can't thank them enough for the great customer service they provide. The hotel is well decorated but not so nice from outside, maybe a bit overpriced but right in front of a private beach (which isn't great by the way). Waiters need more training but they were really nice. Food in the restaurant was good too.

I highly recommend Amarella to be your home of choice while exploring the wonders of Bohol. Its unique structure showcases the traditional Filipino home - wood furniture, local art and detail. This is complemented with hotel-like facilities and amenitities, with an added attraction of beach accessibility. Definitely a place for the family.

This is my third stay and again, I am not disappointed. The warm Filipino-Spanish motif of an old house or rooms with a library, it's own beach access and very nice food made our stay perfect. We made all the arrangements for tour through the hotel too. Perfect place to relax and base to visit Bohol.

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at Amarela Resort during our honeymoon, and thoroughly enjoyed it. After contacting them about our arrival, the hotel arranged a complimentary transfer from Tagbilaran port, and they had prepared a nice welcome in our room. The resort was designed by an architect hired by a retired lawyer from Manila, and a lot of...

Amarela Resort absolutely excelled itself from the moment we booked right through to check out. Effortless attentive service. No request too big or too small. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable and quiet with stunning views out to sea. The facilities are excellent and the food is very well prepared , but the thing that makes them stand out from the...

I arrived 2 hours late at the airport due to bad weather and my hotel transfer was there waiting for me, what a relief! All the staff were so friendly, and was greeted with a cold drink and cold towel. The room was cosy and comfortable with good aircon, tv, and a balcony view of the pool. The pool was...

I have heard of this unique boutique resort in Bohol so i decided to give it a try. Reservation was quick and the staff who handled our inquiry was efficient. I booked for a regular room but to my surprise, we were upgraded to a suite with a nice view during our actual stay. The room is well maintained with...

We searched oninr for a base for our visit to Bohol and were delighted to find this place. A small resort, family-like atmosphere among the eager staff, private beach and infinity pool. Loved the breakfasts - be sure to sample the native hot chocolate - and always found something tasty and tempting on the dinner menu. I had some writing...

I'm impressed with how good their service is. The staff are very attentive that they anticipate even your simplest need. I went there with my mom, siblings, nephews and niece to celebrate my birthday. At the same time, spend a quality time with them as i work in New York and they stay in the Philippines. They are very thoughtful...

This resort is recommendable. The location, its ambiance, private beach front, very courteous and attentive staff, and other amenities are just great. The collection of antique displays and furniture that you will see is just awesome. I think what would make my rating a 5/5 is if they improve the quality and variation of the food that they serve.
