The resort is perfectly located just away from the busy beach strip and has really good facilities. It is right on the beach and the kitchen / bar is great! The problem is the way it is run - I'm no service snob but we had issues with our toilet, lights, pool towels, roaches in the room and all seemed...

This beach resort is perfect for anyone who is looking for a quiet place to relax. We stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. Alona Tropical Beach Resort is located in front of the white-sand Alona beach. The resort it self is surrounded by trees which makes you feel closer to mother nature. The staffs here are very friendly...

Down the quiet end of the beach, with the best swimming and snorkeling spot and loads of palm trees for shade. The breakfast is decent enough and the staff are nice. The dive shop that is joined on were really accomodating, we wanted to go to Balicasag Island but we just wanted to snorkel rather than dive, they let us...

They mayor graciously accommodated myself and another team member, as we were in town on a service project. The trees walking to our room are absolutely gorgeous, especially at night with the lights hanging down. The bar is open late and has wifi and was a great place to hang out and relax after a long day. Out of the...

Location The resort is located on Alona Beach, at the tipmost point to where Alona Beach ends. Great location and very easy to find. 4.5 stars out of 5 starts for location. Accommodation The rooms were very old and smelled funky. Maybe because of the old wooden rattan furniture and the native interior wallpaper that are in every room of...

We booked this prior to travelling to Philippines and although as previous reviewers have mentioned about the dark rooms and smell of the septic tank, we were impressed by the beach and the pool. The staff were very helpful and if we had a problem they sorted it out within 30 mins. They were able to book our ferry tickets...

This resort is a bit old, and rooms are dark and small. A part of them are reshaped, but still many works in progress. Small buildings 2 floors, outside pavements need to be renewed. The service is low, the restaurant offers a attractive card, but most of the dishes are not available. The make-up of the rooms was not done,...

The place is very clean, quiet, a touch of peace and serenity because of the surrounding trees around the pool area. The room rates is at a reasonable affordable prices. The room is clean, except that there are mosquitoes that can enter the small hole in the door, and also the smell of the septic tank is very strong during...
