Alumbung made my vacation very homey. It made my Panglao experience memorable and unique. Thanks to Sylvie, Roberto, and their staff who are very reliable. I enjoyed their house rules. Very basic. Also, the smell of katol nailed the tropical experience! :) Way to go guys!

I enjoyed my stay at Alumbung Tropical Living at Panglao. I stayed here from Oct 6-11, 2016. Very homey, cozy and quiet place. The villa and the other huts/rooms are located inside a private compound, thus you are assured of security. This is for people who wants to relax and have utmost privacy. If you're looking for a "party place"...

We stayed here for 4 nights and didn't want to leave! Such a wonderful place to relax and unwind. We loved our Balinese Cottage. Great for the two of us. Wonderful breakfast served by our hut each morning. Nice to be able to use the beachfront facilities at another local hotel too (Linaw). We took advantage of the trips package...

We travelled asia for 6 weeks (Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines), but Amumbung was the nicest accomodation we had on this trip. We stayed in one of the Nipa-huts which are small, but with a great garden that provides privacy and secludedness. Everything is designed with the heart of the owners so that we felt home from the very beginning. There is...

Amazing place to stay in Panglao! Very clean and charming, perfect location - not far away from Alona and still peacefully quiet. I have not a single complaint about the place - everything was working perfectly - even the breakfast was delicious :) We loved to chill on the hammock during late afternoons. All the staff and owners are exceptionally...

Stumbled upon Alumbung on AirBnb. It was the best decision for staying in Panglao. The place was beautiful and all of the rooms and villas were tastefully designed. Everything was nice and breezy. Food was very good and the owners were very friendly. My only advice would be, bring mosquito repellant. The place was very nice!

My review is long overdue. I loved Alumbung resort and have shared my experience with many friends. I stayed in a cottage with 2 other friends for 3 days after some stressful work days in Manila. I was looking to disconnect from the city hussle and enjoy a few peaceful days in the middle of nature and this place definitely...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Alumbungs is a small tropical garden approximately 25 minutes away from Tagbilaran and three minutes ride from the renowned Alona Beach. The special shape of the villa and cottage roofs is derived from the typical Balinese Lumbung structure where the upper part of each hut served as a rice barn and the bottom part as a meeting place for the family. This is the perfect place for family vacations, honeymooners or for people that just want to relax. ... more   less
