I like the traditional interior of this pub - with looks of interesting things to look at. Plenty of choice on the menu. We called in early on a Tuesday evening so very quiet. We had 2 x starters, main meal and dessert and a couple of soft drinks each for a total of £58. The steak is reasonably priced...

My partner and myself called in on the off chance of having Sunday lunch. We didn't book but we were told by a very polite barman that there was a 20 minute wait, The food and service was excellent. The staff were very attentive, helpful and courteous without being intrusive. We will definitely call again in the near future.Well recommended!

I had a room in a separate building over the road which was ideal for me, the room was clean and tidy, tv was a bit small but in the en-suite the shower worked well with plenty of hot water. As per the title I felt that the Abercrave Inn is good value for money with a good selection for...

Met with family friends for a weekday lunch. Nice surroundings and staff were very good, not rushing us with our order and choices. Drinks were served promptly and we were given plenty of time to view the menu. Lots to choose from along with the specials on the board. The sea bass was delicious, served with prawns and a light...

14 of us attended one night, as we were staying locally for an event... Staff were very friendly and helpful, and our meals were prompt and all served together. Unfortunately, this I found was because everything was microwaved! My garlic mushroom starter was cold in the middle and my "homemade" lasagne was hotter than lava, and thick and stodgy...with a...

Had a lovely meal at Abercrave Inn - was busy as expected on a Friday night and we had a drink in the bar as we hadn't booked. The staff were brilliant letting us know how long the wait would be and getting us to our table ahead of time. The food was delicious - above the 'pub grub' that...

A large group of us stayed here while attending the Motorcycle off road skills course nearby. From the very beginning the welcome and helpfulness of the staff was lovely. It was one of our group's 50th birthday that weekend and the management helped me make it a surprise for him, right down to picking up the cake I had ordered...

Called in for lunch this week and can honestly say after years of avoiding the place I won't stay away again! Pate starter was incredibly tasty and a very generous potion. Chicken main was to die for. It really was stunning. The waiter service is a ten out of ten. Looking forward to returning.
