Advertised as luxury accommodation. All rooms supposedly had an upgrade. This was not our experience visiting the hotel as part of a large wedding party for one night. Our 'double' room was very small, single size only with double bed pushed up against one wall and hardly room for two people to move around. Uncomfortable bed and poor trickle of...

Stayed one night in this lovely looking hotel. The reception and bar staff were very welcoming and pleasant. However I think you need to teach the miserable lady who served me coffee in the morning some lessons in customer service. If she doesn't like her job, then she shouldn't be serving people. Room was tiny and bed was really uncomfortable...

Booked the long room for our mum and dad's surprise golden wedding party (with 100 guests in attendance), the buffet was plentiful and enjoyed by all. Hotel staff were extremely helpful and special note must be made of Yvette Murphy who went above and beyond the call of duty to help us with the planning before the event and ensured...

I arrived on a Monday evening for my 4 night stay. Very limited car parking spaces. A basic room. There was a draught in the cupboard/wardrobe. The bathroom... cold with a very poor over the bath shower with very low pressure. there were cobwebs all over the ceiling and the vent to the room was completely engulfed in dirt and...

We are local, not visited for a while after some disappointing meals. We visited on Wednesday evening for tea. Bar was quiet and we sat in the lovely Conservatory. Staff were friendly. Good choice on the menu including smaller portions. The food was well cooked and served promptly. On the whole we enjoyed and will return again. They clearly have...

Booked in at around 9pm Friday night, room sounded like a night club. Got room changed with minimum fuss. Shower either so hot it would take the skin off your back or so cold you could not stand under it for fear of freezing. But room at rear of annex was at least quiet. Bathroom could of done with a...

Stayed 3 nights here recently in this friendly cosy hotel. Reminded me at times of the upmarket b&b's I use to stay at on the Golden Mile in Blackpool: never quite running perfectly but always getting by. My only complaint was the breakfasts. Running out of water, or juice, or tea bags, etc, etc. The food was OK apart from rubbery...
