Wrote a review in September about the slow service and I feel that I need to revise my judgement. The bar does get busy, so you may need to wait - but the staff are lovely and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. We have eaten here and can't fault the meals. Having gone in for drinks and noticed other...

We always try to book in at The Oak Baginton at least two or three times a year we come up to the Midlands to see friends and relatives also to have our Norfolk Terriers stripped at the Breeders. Once or twice we have been unlucky and not been able to book in and have found nowhere else to compare...

The staff were great throughout our stay, always polite and helpful! I'd phoned a couple of days before we arrived to see if we could access our rooms to change for the wedding we were going to. When we arrived they'd made sure we could! We had a quick lunch which was very impressive. We ordered a range of sandwiches...

Stayed in the family room - just big enough for the four of us. A fold up bed was provided. Room a little worn but clean. Bath and shower were separate which was a nice bonus. Shower door was a bit loose and the grout had a mouldy patch. Staff were lovely and friendly. Evening meal was plentiful- nice fresh...

Great refurbishment and tidy up from the last time we went here, I believe it is under new ownership. And we are really pleased we went back. Good selection of drinks, nice environment, helpful and friendly staff, nice food and great value for money. This will be one for us to revisit regularly again.

I stayed here for a couple of nights for work. The rooms are in a separate building to the pub and restaurant. Upon entering the building where the rooms are I was hit by a very strong smell of bleach. Obviously it is important for a hotel to be clean, but the smell was so strong it made me feel...
