Whenever visiting Coventry we like to stay at the Old Mill. The staff are so friendly - from the reception to the restaurant servers. The rooms are comfortable and cozy. We love the old world atmosphere of the pub and dining area but there is no doubt the restaurant is becoming more and more popular. When we arrived (at 5:00...

I came with my family and family friends for a 2 night weekend stay. We booked 3 rooms (on separate bookings) and were put in rooms next door to each other which was a lovely touch! We ate breakfasts and dinners here during our stay and we're not disappointed all the food was cooked to a great standard and delicious!...

Stayed here for one night whilst in Coventry for a sporting weekend. The service we received on both arrival and departure was friendly and welcoming and the rooms were comfortable too. There are plenty of outside seating areas to enjoy the lovely atmosphere as the river runs right next to this property. We also at in the restaurant on the...

This is my first trip advisor review, because after reading the reviews here we thought it was a good idea to stay at the Old Mill. I stayed in the executive room, as we were travelling for business we "splashed out". Firstly, we arrived and the resturant was fully booked so we have to travel for dinner. Although this wasn't...

Stayed here for a night whilst visiting Coventry. Good location just outside the centre of town. A very friendly welcome. Very clean room overlooking the river. Bright bathroom with great shower and bath. Good location. Would recommend.

I stayed here months ago and the room was disappointing but this visit I was in room 1 and it was excellent. Mental note; check the heating it was very warm but the British climate can be changeable. Good service and breakfast.

My partner & I wanted to stay someplace quiet and away from the local riffraff so we chose The Old Mill and we're really pleased that we did! We arrived to check in and a lovely & bubbly receptionist called Helen helped us out with everything that we enquired about and she was very helpful without any fuss or attitude....

- It does not deserve the high rating at all. The staff was not very friendly and helpful. We wanted to check out only half an hour late, but they did not accept it. They we will be charged for late check out, even half an hour. - The tapes for cold and hot water were separated, so we had...

My son and I decided to have our weekly Sunday lunch at another Chef and Brewer which we had visited before. We got there around 1.30 expecting it to be packed but surprisingly there were quite a few empty tables. The pub has what they call mood lighting which means when you get out of the car on a sunny day you...

We eat here regularly, and find the staff very friendly and welcoming. It is part of the Chef and Brewer chain, so the food is not gourmet, but there is a wide choice on the menu and new specials every month, so you can always find something you fancy. Beer and wine choice is better than average. The decor combines...
