We stayed at the Waterlillies Treehouse for our anniversary and it was wonderful! We had stunning view on the Lake! Nice breakfast basket with bubbly and the scones with jam and cream on arrival were delicious. Beautiful garden around treehouses. The wildlife is so good to see: birds, goannas, snake, possums. We would recommend this place to our friends! Thanks...

What a place to celebrate! We stayed at the Platypus Treehouse and it was wonderful. The attention to detail and the walkway to the treehouses is enjoyable. Even though you are so high off the ground, living amongst all the beautiful wood carvings really does bring you back to earth. The scones with jam & cream on arrival were delicious,...

Thank you Michael and Cassie for your wonderful review. I will pass on your thanks to our staff. It is good to get detailed feed back about what we do and provide, some of which have been part of our product for many years. It helps to know that they are still appreciated. Absolutely the best place I have stayed in for a long time. This accommodation sets you apart from the real world. The forest outlook over - looking the lake makes the perfect escape. Beware, 1 night is not long enough to spend here. This place is truly amazing.

Thank you Ellen. When George and I came up with the concept 20 oidd years ago we decided we would build it the best way we could conceive and then we had fun with the theming. We found some truly amazing craftsmen and imagined what we wanted to make it conducive for couples to connect when getting away together. Apart...

What an apt name, as this place really is a secret gem. Beautiful setting and views, quality food, relaxed and friendly service, and amazing wood carvings. As resident Sunshine Coasters, this is our favourite spot to take interstate and international visitors, and without exception, they all love it, take pictures, and want to tell their friends. Huge congrats to Secrets...

Went to Secrets on the Lake for Valentine's Day. It is gorgeous! The lunch was exquisite with complimentary champagne and a rose for the ladies. The tempura fried zucchini flowers entree was to die for. Also loved the risotto of wild mushrooms and crisp skinned salmon. The grounds and buildings are so beautiful with lovely carvings and art. The furniture...

Hello Diana. I like the zucchini flowers entree as well. All reports about our Valentine's Day efforts have been great. Our staff outdid themselves and George and I are very proud of their efforts. It's worth a visit alone to inspect our accommodation as it is superb. Look forward to serving you our high tea sometime in the future. Kind...

After stupidly hiking 21kms on the hottest day of the year we were warmly welcomed and taken care of by Di. She truely went above and beyond by bringing us ice cold towels to cool down with, topping us up with amazing local sparking water and checking we were ok. Coffees after we cooled down were amazing, perfect spot to...

At the time I had thought you very brave to hike in that heat and to do it without succumbing to it. And Di has my gratitude as well for looking after you so well. Perhaps you may tackle it again the cooler months, as it is a beautiful walk, and, with Secrets at the end of the Kondallila to...

I stayed at the Platypus penthouse recently and it was amazing the views, the staff and the food. I would definitely recommend for even a short getaway. I would also suggest you go down to the gardens and the jetty on sunset.

Thank you HASBJH for the great review. Platypus penthouse treehouse is beautiful. It has last count 29 platypuses carved cedar, ceramic, iron and glass. so it seems like you are staying in a world of art in the theme "Platypus". The gardens by Lake Baroon are stunning and the opportubity to take shots of sunsets irresistable. Sometimes the lake turns...

We visited the restaurant at Secrets on the Lake for a mid-morning breakfast. It is a drive to get to but the views and atmosphere are well worth the effort. Hi Thomas Thank you for describing so well what its like here at Secrets. I have only just discovered that the staff are feeding the possum at Two Frogs. He has become somewhat lazy now, and as there is a lot of food for him to forage in the rain forest, we may have to wean him off being fed...
