From the time we made the booking to the moment we check ed out everything was perfect. In fact i cant think of any other moment when the organisation and details were so carefully planned. We will continue to make this a place for 1 or 2 night stopovers when we can. We stayed in 2 Frogs and it was...

Thank you for reviewing your stay in Two Frogs. I recall many years ago when we opened for business being told "You are doing it all wrong!. YOur guests won't want to have anything to do with you! Just give them the keys and send them down to their rooms". George and I ignored that tidbit and did our thing,...

A couple retreat with possums, kookaburras and friendly family flair. This place was remarkable. Love George and his flowers. The place has no expense spared on the care and attention placed to everything. Well staffed with beautiful souls and happy faces. Stand out accomodation for both of us.

We happened upon secrets cafe after collecting my husband from the great walk. And what an amazing respite afternoon sipping on coffee & chai & sharing the amazing decadent melt in mouth sticky date pudding whilst overlooking lake baroon. *sigh* it was a small peak into what it will be like to stay there & we can't wait for an...

HI Josie Thankyou for your great review. Our sticky date pudding is very popular and it is gluten free, believe it or not! I bless the lady who gave me that recipe as guests prefer this recipe to my really good standard one that I use in my barbecue hamper and have done for 20 years now. Do you realize...

Stopped here for a coffe whilst being given a tour of the local area. Owners kind enough to give us a tour of one of the treetop chalets but friend freaked out when we walked past a very large meat eating ant and lizards scuttled around the chalet we were being shown. Had a drink in the restaurant and ladies...

Yes! We live in a rainforest and you will see the occasional lizard which, because they are not fed, just scuttle away. We also have Kookaburras, Noisy Miners, Lorikeets, Parrots, Possums, Bush turkeys, Koalas and more creatures from the rainforest, and, in general our guests love that they can on occasion see them. They are shy and don't always appear...

It had a great menu, reasonable cost, superb service and presentation and while you were eating you could gaze at a fantastic view. I absolutely loved how they gave us a yellow rose. That simple thing just made my day so special and they treated you like a queen. A must to visit

Thanks Judi for giving us a great review. Pleased you enjoyed the food and view of our cafe experience. The roses are presented to all the ladies, whenever we can obtain them. There is a period of time across the winter when they aren't available as they prune them to start flowering in the early spring. Please let me know...

George & Aldy, have perfected the art of hospitality. Check-in and chill out, the private romantic cabins are to die for. We always order a BBQ Pack and this April visit, we ordered a restaurant meal delivered to our cabin. Well the BBQ pack was excellent as always but the restaurant meal was 11 out of ten. Warning!! if you...

Thanks Graham and your lovely wife Shirley. Gold star guests. We appreciate your giving us a review. I will pass on your word of praise to Chef and his kitchen staff, as he designs and they cook the meal options. We stayed in Lizards Lair for two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The setting and room were lovely, all the staff warm and friendly; and the attention to detail outstanding. Everything we needed was there, The wine, fruit and breakfast basket was lovely along with warmed croissants delivered at 8 am. Our only complaint was it was...

Thanks David! Pleased you enjoyed Waterlilies and wrote us a review. Pleased also that you enjoyed the tranquility of our place and the efforts my staff go to to to make it enjoyable. The wood fires certainly make a winter's night special. See you in winter next time? Thanks again! Kind regards Aldy.

Bungalows hidden among the trees are what you'll find here. Complete seclusion, a great little weekend getaway for couples, families and even the solo travelled after a bit of zen time. You can even come here and have a picnic lunch for the day. Lots of trails to walk along and meander through the trees to have lunch at the...

Thanks Stacey for your lovely words. I have a theory about 4 stars when there appears to be no real issue in fact it is apparently "bliss". I recall filling out questionnaires for seminars over the years and I rarely gave a 10 out of 10 as a matter of principle. I wonder why that is? Our "bungalows", I call...
