Couldn’t have asked for a more magical stay, the rainforest atmosphere and serene cottages were just as beautiful as the photos show, possibly even more! Allan and Aryna were so accomodating to all our needs, Allan even offered to drive us to the local Bar and Grill if needed. Such a lovely stay, couldn’t have asked for more.
We had an excellent 3 night stay in a Rainforest Spa Cottage at The Falls Montville. The cottage itself was well laid out and spacious for 2. All of the required amenities were there and the room was beautifully prepared. Not just clean and tidy but Alan and Aryna included a whole lot of special touches which lifted the experience. Port, chocolates, flowers, robes, a warm home baked loaf of bread, and the fire stacked ready to light. The breakfast provisions were ample, and the fresh danishes each morning were a nice touch. It was a bit of a walk down to the cottages but this added to the rainforest getaway experience for us. Our mobile phone service (Telstra) was poor at the property but the wifi in the cottage was excellent. Alan provided us transfers to local restaurants and to nearby walking trails. This personalized service is what made our stay so enjoyable and why we would happily recommend The Falls to others.…
Blissfully perfect stay. This was our second stay and we will definitely be back. Westayed 4 nights in Rose Apple cottage. Beautiful position, feels like you are in middle of rainforest. Allan and Aryna attention to detail , their welcoming, friendly hosting style and that nothing is too much trouble make the experience all more spectacular. Local fresh produce, ample food provisions, luxury towels and robes! I had some special needs this time around and Allan and Aryna couldn't have done more to ensure I enjoyed my stay. Highly recommended
We booked this place following its appearance in a national newspaper back in the UK. It had rated very highly and we were looking for an end of trip road trip following a month living with our daughter and new son in law in Brisbane. From the moment we arrived Alan and Aryna treated us as if we were old friends, Checked in and were taken down to our cottage, Lacebark if I recall, the one right down the bottom of the walkway. The cottage was spectacular, very clean and everything that you could need thoughtfully provided. Breakfast had been provided to cover the two nights we were there with Alan saying if we needed a top up to let him know and he would provide it. We chose to buy evening meals rather than do battle with Montville for restaurant seating as they do seem to run shorter hours than back in the UK, my wife preferred this option as she adored the cottage, the spa bath and the view it offered. We did the walk down to the falls which provided a great workout for my old and worn out body... Falls were lovely and we loved the whole rainforest area. We did a visit into Montville and wandered round some of the shops, was very busy and most of the goods on offer were of excellent quality. We also visited with the Barn just down the road in Flaxton for a cream tea. Splendid staff there. To sum up, one of the best places I have stayed in, super comfortable, super clean, awesome views and the best host's I have had the pleasure to meet. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. …
From the stunning views, to the semi rain forest walk to the cabin, you are really spoiled for choice with accommodation options. The main house is a mix of olde world charm, surrounded by museum pieces and absolute luxury. The local produce for breakfast and the morning bakery delivery is wonderful. The attention to detail by the delightful hosts leave you wanting to come back and we DEFINITELY will!!
We stayed at the Tamarind cottage for our 43rd anniversary in December. The cottage was the cleanest place we have ever stayed at! Alan and Aryna are the perfect hosts, very friendly and helpful. While driving there, we received a phone call from Alan to let us know a bad storm was heading their way, and to try and delay our arrival. When we arrived, Alan was so helpful in trying to arrange somewhere for us to have dinner, as the electricity had been cut to the whole area. The breakfast provisions were ample and very welcome. Each morning Alan dropped off delicious pastries at our cottage door. The cottages are all private and far enough away from each other to ensure privacy. The setting is like a rain forest, and very peaceful. Our cottage had a bbq on the deck, microwave and electric frying pan in the kitchen, full size fridge/freezer, and all the necessary cleaning supplies. All we had to do was enjoy our stay. We were very sorry to leave after three days, but will definitely return this year. Thank you so much Alan and Aryna, for you friendly hospitality.…
Just returned from a special anniversary get away at The Falls. From the moment we arrived , Alan and Aryna absolutely impressed and make such a positive impression. The setting is idyllic and private and they have ensured that your needs are met and you are comfortable. The cleanliness and presentation deserves mentioning…. Little details like flowers, chocolates and port are appreciated and the breakfast ingredients meant we started the day in style. They have put much thought and heart into the accommodation and as a visitor … you benefit. Just lovely and highly recommended. Thanks to you both .
We stayed in the manor home for a family vacation with ten adults and two kids. Beautiful home, everything was so clean and well appointed. Each room has air conditioning and an en-suite. The kitchen was great and we cooked up a storm on the big gas burner stove top and giant oven. Alan is a legend and was very responsive with communications. Highly recommended!
The Falls was one of the loveliest places we have stayed. We were made to feel so welcome it was like coming home. Such a beautiful and quiet location but central to shopping and eateries. The little touches like pastries left each morning are just beautiful. The breakfast supplies are amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for Alan and Aryna. The room had everything you needed. Very comfy bed. Very clean and tidy. We don’t usually return to the same place again as so many lovely places to experience but in this case we will definitely be back.
We stayed in the rose apple cottage and it was lovely. We were visited several times by a friendly kookaburra. The cottage had everything we needed and were supplied by the super helpful hosts with a beautiful set of materials for breakfast. We had a wonderful stay and we can’t recommend this place highly enough. Dinner reservations were also made by our hosts for us at local restaurants and we very much appreciated that. We even had laundry done by our hosts. I don’t believe that is the normal practice to do laundry here but our hosts cheerfully went ahead anyway and used their own laundry facilities to help us with our clothes. This was greatly appreciated after being on the road for many weeks. Our hosts went to great lengths to make sure we had a fantastic stay and that we were happy.…
