The accommoation itself is nice (hot water, good bed, clean) and they serve good food in the small restaurant. There are a few benches to sit on near the restaurant and enjoy the rainforest. But..... the ranchitos is too close to the road. 24/7 there...More

Ranchitos del Quetzal is uniquely placed to visit the Biotopo del Quetzal which is a 3 minute walk along the road from the lodge. I highly recommend a day there because the trails through the cloud forest are spectacular and if you are as lucky...More
