You should know that this hotel is located directly to the N 340 main road. This is not clear at all from the pictures, but there is at least one previous TA review stating that this hotel is "marred by noise". We agree. The traffic is high speed and heavy also in the morning, which is disturbing during breakfast at...

Had a great dinner at LaTartana earlier in the year, so made a point of going back to stay this time are we were nearby. The welcome was very warm, the rooms very comfortable and this boutique hotel displays attention to detail and pride in the surroundings. Sunday lunch on the terrace was excellent, as were the wines - recommended...

Absolutely beautiful little boutique hotel. Quirky, cultural and welcoming. Great people and amazing food. With stunning views of the bay and the town of La Herradura it's the 'must stay' property in the area. We'll be back for sure!!

This small hotel nestles into the hillside above La Herradura, which is a pleasant, relaxed resort with none of the noise or concrete monstrosities found in other parts of the coast. The entrance is flower-covered and the rooms cluster charmingly around a small courtyard. Rooms are spacious and pleasing and ours opened onto a large terrace. Breakfast on the terrace...

We would highly recommend this hotel and as a restuarant. The hotel is located walking distance to the wonderful horseshoe bay named La Herradura with many restuarants and bars but retaining the charm of real Spain. The owners Jed and Amanda could not have been more helpful and friendly. The staff were also very helpful and friendly from the restuarant...

After a two hour drive from Priego de Córdoba we were delighted to arrive at the lovely Hotel La Tartana. It is an immediately welcoming and calm place on the Mediterranean coastline overlooking the sea and the small town of La Herradura. Jed was a very friendly, welcoming and accommodating host. He has created a small hotel full of character;...

This place is such a lovely find, it's the type of small boutique hotel you wish you could find everywhere. It has a wonderful small hotel vibe, that really feels like home after minutes, the rooms / communal area's are really lovely and the photo's do not do it justice at all. It's run by a friendly, warm family, has...
