Everything was nice and clean. Furniture etc in the rooms we had seemed in nice shape/not scratchy and worn etc. Real classic/old style. Nice and clean and very friendly reception and breakfast service. The bathrooms was old style. No problems, but not tiles and fancy ... All in all very good value for money. We had a double room with...

Lovely place for a week of wintersports. The hotel is run by a kind Dutch couple. His cooking is fantastic, her hospitality is memorable. They really do everything to make the guests feel at home. The building is spacious and decorated in a typical swedish classic style. I disagree with other reviews that describe this location as 'from the 60s'...

We stayed here as part of a large group. As a family of 5 we were given the large 2bdrm apartment on the bottom floor near reception (main room with double bed and folder bed, 2nd room with 2 singles) reasonable sized rooms. Was a bath shower (which I am not a fan of with children) everything was neat and...

The "place" is in an extraordinary location in a meadow with a sea view. If you are a bird-watcher there are a few observation points a few hundred meters away. The young friendly lady served us a decent dinner but seemed surprised when we asked what the starters were (there was none) and whether we could get bread and butter...

Very good location if you like a pastoral environment.Ask for a room facing the lake - wonderful view. Good swedish breakfast - no hot dishes. Rooms small, oldfashioned but clean. (It used to be a home for old people!) Priceworthy. We liked it!

We were pleased with the exterior of the hotel although it is not lakeside as advertized. We walked to the lake and it was a long walk. The room had just the bare necessities which is fine. It was clean, but the lamp shades were smoldering as they were too close to the bulbs. We did inform the staff when...

The Kungshaga is just off the main road so has easy access for road travellers. The property is from the early 1900s but well maintained and in a very peaceful location beside a lake. The food was excellent cooked by the owner and the sunset over the lake a great way to end the day. If you want a pleasant...

Kungshaga was a surprise with very reasonable cost and an amazing view of the lake to the west of Orsa. While the hotel was a bit tired, the cleanliness was top notch and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was excellent and the dining room offered a great view of the lake. I highly recommend as a...
