I just returned from paradise. From the moment you walk onto the property, you instantly feel calm, relaxed and stress-free. I hosted a weekly yoga retreat at Apoyo Lodge and the owner Miriam, staff and amazing people I met exceeded my expectations. The grounds are absolutely stunning and the lagoon is truly magical and healing to swim in. You really...

Thank you so much for your kind words, Jess. It means so much to us! It was such a pleasure having you with us last week, we can only hope for all our future guests to be as sweet, lovely, respectful and caring like you. Cannot wait to have you back some time, big hugs to your mum from all...

The moment I arrived I let go of the stress of the city life. The Apoyo Lodge will invite you to let go and emerge yourself in nature, with beauty, soul food made from scratch from family recipes, and local activities that pamper and develop your senses.

I am co-owner of Sol Breath Retreats. Our recent women’s yoga healing retreat at Apoyo Lodge was an unforgettable and powerfully transformational experience. Miriam and Manuel, the co-owners of Apoyo Lodge and their kind, caring, quiet generous staff took care of our every need: from the extra activities they skillfully organized to the cleansing, energizing and scrumptious meals to the...

We were on our honeymoon in March 2017, and this was certainly one of the most special places we've been too. Miriam, one of the owners and lives on site, is an exceptional woman. She is a very positive person. Very spiritual as well. She works extremely hard to make this place an unbelievable experience. The food is wonderful, the...

Dear Yair, Many thanks for your wonderful review and kind words. We really enjoyed your visit and we are very happy we were able to be part of your honeymoon memories. We are really sorry you encountered a couple of mosquitos on your room during your stay. Being in the middle of a Natural Reserve, it is difficult to escape...

Apoyo Lodge is definitely paradise found! If you're looking to unwind and detach from the outside world for a little while, this place is perfect since it's so secluded from any other town or resort you feel like you're really going off the grid! The Laguna de Apoyo is an ancient imploded volcano with water and "sand" rich in minerals...

The Lodge is absolutely gorgeous! The pictures do not do it justice. Its secluded on the edge of a old volcano that is now a lake. The water is full of minerals, so its great for your skin, but other wildlife (crocodiles) can't live in it. We did a week long meditation retreat here and it was perfect for us....

SERVICE- The owner is gracious, organized and detail-oriented. We chose the space to participate in a 5-day silent meditation and yoga retreat and her staff was completely accommodating of our needs (they maintained silence, orchestrated communication mechanisms we could use when necessary, and were silent themselves). They were BEYOND accommodating. This is the best service I have EVER had at...

We visited Apoyo Lodge as part of a meditation retreat and have an amazing time. The staff was extremely courteous and the natural beauty of the area is stunning. I went to Apoyo Lodge for a yoga and health retreat and had one of the best and most moving experiences of my life. Apoyo Lodge is hidden in what looks like an oasis on the edge of Apoyo Lagoon. I was there for a 6-day yoga/wellness retreat and it has to be one of the most peaceful, relaxing and quiet places I've ever been to: you have the lagoon (who's water envelops you like a warm blanket), hammocks tied to palm trees in...
