Mary is a wonderful hostess. She went out of her way to accommodate my two friends and myself, staying up late to greet us after we had become lost on our way back to Carwarden after we had dinner in Hall's Harbour even though she had to get up at 5am to prepare her sumptuous breakfast. The accommodations were spacious...

Men enjoyed sitting on the front porch after spending the day in the car. Mary is a most gracious hostess. Breakfast was delicious, included homemade granola and fresh fruit. My husband says we are going back when next we vacation in Nova Scotia, one night was not long enough

We had a lovely one night stay this past October while visiting the area. Mary is a delightul host and serves a delicious breakfast. She was also so kind to prepare a hot kettle of tea at night when we came back with scones that we bought at the village and stayed up late to chat with us. The house...

Carwarden B & B is a heritage home built in 1910. The home is huge and beautiful. It overlooks a farming landscape , lovely setting. Our room was large and tastefully decorated in a Victorian theme. Mary, the owner, was very helpful; making suggestions where to eat, and giving us directions for our daily trips. She was so gracious, and...

We enjoyed sitting a spell on the front porch overlooking the beautiful view, and relaxing in the parlour with a glass of wine. This historic house is as authentic as they come. Mary is a delightful host, an excellent cook, and runs the house with the efficiency only a school teacher could provide. We highly recommend it! Val, Lori, &...

A great B&B starts with a great host/hostess. Mary is the Greatest! She is warm, has a sense of humour, and just loves welcoming guests. The B&B is in a 100+ year old house that is absolutely charming. It has been renovated and Mary keeps it very clean. The rooms are very large and each has an ensuite. Although the...

First, Mary is a very gracious hostess with a wonderful sense of humor, we enjoyed joking with her emensely. She keeps her B&B impeccably clean, the inside of her 1913 Era house was beautiful. In the morning she made fruit cups, home made bisquets , homemade jelly, apple sauce, granola and the Quechee was delicious. At breakfast we met Fred...
