From the moment Marcelo picked us up at the airport, we knew we made the right decision to stay at Kaimana. The Accommodations were simple enough but had the essentials and were in great working condition. Clean rooms, hot shower and comfy beds. The meeting area for breakfast, and late night beverages, with new friends to share stories was a...

I don't think many people truly know what to expect upon arriving at Easter Island - I know I sure didn't. What you will find though, is one of the coolest little islands in the world populated with some of the nicest people you will find. The Kaimana Inn is no exception. Situated conveniently off the main road the Kaimana...

The hotel would be 3-star in the US rating system. However, the overall experience was more like 4-star. First, the accommodation. 100 US $ will not carry you far on Easter Island, which is an expensive place. What you get for this price (actually, a bit more in our case) is thus basic accommodation, no frills. However, everything worked in...

Location: It's not a big town... hotel has very easy access to main street with everything you need. Hotel: Family style, common area plus kitchen in the middle with 6 rooms around. The manager, Marcelo, is exceptional. He arrange tours for us, informative and reasonably charged. He speaks very good english and has a very confident control over your time...

I had a very late booking, and my large room with two clean and comfortable beds was set up from scratch in half an hour, and the likeable host Marcelo arranged for a large floor fan, needed when it's 30 degrees C. The shower had good pressure and was plenty warm enough. There was a working fridge too. The room...

We had a fantastic time at the Kaimana Inn. Marcelo was very welcoming and picked us up at the airport. Conveniently located just off the main road and for strolls along the coast. This is a good budget option, providing you are fairly self sufficient and are just looking for a comfortable, simple place to sleep while on the island...

Marcelo was a very hospitable host, greeting at the airport. The room smelt a bit musty and there was no remote control in the room to operate the air conditioner (and no one around to ask). However, I opened the window and that was nice weather at this time of the year. The bed is clean and comfortable enough. The...

I'm going to start at the end of my stay, because it was so unbelievable and potential guests need to know. Your stay at Kaimana includes airport transfers. My last morning, I arranged timing with Marcelo to take me to the airport (the housekeeper had to wake him up at almost 10 a.m. for this to happen). When I got...

My husband and I had a great time on the island. For the price I do not think you can find better place to stay. The hotel is located off the Main Street. Everything is a short walk away. Marcelo is so friendly. He really wants to make sure everything is great for his guests. The wifi was hit or...
