I had been planning my wedding at Burnhouse Manor for 2 years. Fiona had been so helpful so I was confident that I would have a perfect day here for my wedding. On the day - the organisation and the staff were unable to deliver what was promised. They did not fulfil the contract and make sure that all of...

I was a bridesmaid at my mothers wedding at the weekend, and I could not fault the place! Friendly staff, beautiful wedding venue, peaceful, AMAZING food, absolutely flawless. The staff took good care of us the whole weekend. The prices were very reasonable. It was such a great weekend that we will definitely be back. Honestly, don't agree with the...

If you want to get away for a quiet and peaceful time then it's a great location for it. The food was great, very tasty. Dinner portion was of very good size - breakfast cooked portion was quite small but they had continental choice as well. Staff service was great, the hotel was very quiet so they were always quick...

Lovely peaceful setting. Good size room and bed. So much potential but let down by need for refurbishment. Water stains on ceiling, black/ missing grout round bath, good size towels but thin. Excellent over bath shower and plenty hot water but no non slip mat for shower and nothing to hold onto getting in and out of the bath. End...

Stayed for 1 night on B&B basis having booked months ago. Having read the reviews, we didn't experience anything like the bad reviews suggest, Check in was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable with tea, coffee etc. Bathroom very clean with nice toiletries. We had a 3 course meal from the Table D'hote menu which proved...

As the last reviewer has mentioned, the afternoon tea is nothing to write home about. We wandered around aimlessly until eventually we found someone to take our reservation. I echo the sentiments of the last review in the sense that there was no choice whatsoever and the food served to us appeared anything but home made - aside from the...

Very disappointing. Service awful...Nobody on reception or in restaurant to assist on arrival. Took 10 mins of looking around before we were seated. No choice of sandwiches only tuna with 2 quarter of ham for 4 people on stale white bread. Cream for scones was off. Nobody around to complain to. Never seen a waitress after sandwiches were served.
