Staying in the area on business and looking for somewhere for dinner and stumbled across the pub Warm welcome, and fairly busy for a Tuesday but soon see why as goo selection beers and nice food menu, started with butterfly prawns then steak & kidney pie (home made) choice of veg or salad and potato. My college had the duck...

After a quick call to book, 40 minutes later we were enjoying a fabulous Sunday Lunch....or should I say, yet another fabulous Sunday lunch! Friendly service, amazing food freshly and lovingly prepared with care and attention! It's always such a pleasure to visit the Neeld Arms! It's all in good hands Charlie!

The welcome was luke warm at best, but on seeing the room which was spacious and quirky made us overlook this, similarly dinner was great and well priced, had the goodbye not been so poor, I would have rated this much more highly. Whilst having breakfast, (which was also very good) we were asked 3 times by the waitress how...

We enjoyed a night's stay here recently. The village of Grittleton is beautiful and quaint. The staff were really helpful on arrival and the Inn itself is so quirky and typically English - if you are looking for a stereotypical British place/type setting this is your venue. The room was a converted attic with a beamed ceiling and was huge...

A country pub full of character. Outside seating. On road parking. Lovely building. Friendly welcome- exactly what we were after. There is a solid range of ales. Really good menu both for light lunch bites or more substantial dinner/appetites. There lib is split between a traditional classic interior that oozes charm and an equally inviting extension (sympathetically reflecting the main...

This review is solely of the food. We hadn't been to the Neeld Arms in over 2 years - they've built a rather nice extension on the side in the intervening period, which greatly increases the amount of dining space. Ambience is 'country pub', with a cosy atmosphere and a lot of local customers. The menu looks pretty ordinary, until...

Lovely lady showed us to our room which was big with four poster bed and was very comfy and had a good nights sleep . Partner had scampi and chips which was gorgeous. Breakfast was good only problem was bowls were dirty looked like a dog had licked them , but soon rectified.

It's not the first visit, but the first for a Sunday lunch with 92 year old mum, two brothers, son and daughter-in-law and baby grandson Max. As always, a wonderful welcome from Charlie. A proper pub with gorgeous food. Great selection from the menu + Specials board. Served piping hot and beautifully presented. Thank you again.
