Called in here for a lunchtime drink when on a boating holiday a few week's ago and it looked so good we booked a table for dinner. So pleased we did because it was excellent. Lovely friendly staff and great meal and so nice to have piping hot food served on hot plates. We both had a starter, prawn cocktail...

We called in to have a lunch before visiting friends nearby. The service was excellent . We ordered the chicken wraps which were nice and spicy & well cooked. The bar was very busy but we were served quickly and the food soon followed. The staff kept the tables clean and tidy and we will certainly return.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was excellent, both the evening dinner and the two breakfasts that we got. The staff were so nice and friendly. We had a great few songs in the bar at night.

Great spot first time there we brought our son there for a birthday meal, and I must say we were not disappointed after the meal we asked if we could present him with a cake, the staff went one step better and took our cake a put a candle on it and brought it out to our table. And to...

This is a top notch hotel/bar. Despite not having a lunch booking, a table for our party of ten was immediately found. We were made feel so welcome. And I can only describe the food as delicious. Most of us ordered the beef and it was melt in the mouth tender, with gorgeous mash, roasties and veg. It also came...

This is just about the restaurant. We didn't stay overnight. Okay, I know it's Christmas-time but for a restaurant in a small town, I think that the prices greatly over value what's on offer. Fifteen euro for a quite ordinary vegetarian penne pasta and nearly six euro for a glass of house wine. Had I not been there with a...

We have stayed here many times when visiting friends locally and have never been disappointed. The staff are very friendly and attentive through out the hotel, the rooms are clean and have been more modernised over the last few years. Everything in the room is as it should be with tea making facilities on offer, TV and a hairdryer plus...

I cannot fault my stay at The Seven Horseshoes. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, very nicely decorated and had every convenience. I requested a late checkout, and they could not have been more accommodating. The breakfast was excellent. The food being served in the restaurant and bar looked lovely. I will definitely eat there...
