I was looking for a place to stay so I can see the glow worms at Melba gully and this was the perfect spot! The host was extremely gracious and I had a wonderful time meeting her and her greyhounds. The place has a very homelike feel and the tea and breakfast was wonderful. I enjoyed looking around the garden...

We've had an absolutely enjoyable three nights with Virginia, Bob and the puppies. Very hospitable, nothing was too much trouble, and an ideal, restful base from which to explore the Great Ocean Road.

From the moment we arrived Virginia was a very welcoming host and pointed out some of the birds in her beautiful gardens. The accommodation was very pleasant, and the breakfast very good, especially after discussing various dietary requirements! Spending some time with her dogs was great as well. The property is a short drive from Melba Gully; if you want...

We stayed one night here booked over the internet. A magical setting, acres of land. virginia and her husband Bob had spent the day erecting a greenhouse. It was chilly out and Virginia had lit the lovely wood burning stove to welcome us. She offered to phone the local diner to ask them to stay open if we hadnt eaten,...

We choose this B&B for it's proximity to Melba Gully, which it is close. Overall our experience at this B&B was below the standard of hospitality / facilities we expected and not indicative of the cost. The gardens are beautiful, and obviously a labor of love. Top marks for the garden. Unfortunately it's downhill from here. The room is very...

My friend and I were so lucky to be given the number for this wonderful B&B! We arrived fairly late but were greeted warmly by Bob and his beautiful dogs, with a tray of tea and biscuits as well as the recommendation to go down to Melba Gully to see the glow worms- truly magical experience!! The following morning, we...

such and amazing location. Quiet, tranquil and gorgeous. Great hosts and great for a relaxing getaway. The glow worms were a definite highlight for us. The little pinpricks of light guiding us through the darkness was magical.

Bob and Virginia are a lovely couple who provided us with a lovely room and breakfast in a beautiful location. Their garden is just splendid and a pleasure to walk through, and for people who like dogs - they have two adorable greyhounds! Just one kilometre down the road is the Melba Gully rain forest walk, where glow worms light...

Virginia and Bob are delightful hosts and run a charming B&B set on a gorgeous property full of flowers, and a huge selection of various trees. The setting is tranquille and the birdlife is fabulous. The rooms are cosy and very clean but note there is no TV. You should be here to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Just 2 minutes...

A friend and I arrived late in the afternoon so did not have as much time as we would have liked at this beautiful garden. A toot on the horn (as the sign says) and Virginia appeared with her two beautiful greyhounds to welcome us to her property. After a bit of a chat and a pat of the friendly...

“As it was a very warm night and with no airconditioning, were glad of the upstairs room which "caught" any breeze. One small ( constructive I hope) criticism is the towels were harsh & felt like drying with sandpaper.”
