It was a nice accommodation for a night. There were some minor details that could fit a little better though. For example I would appreciate if the room was pre heated since they knew we were arriving in one of the most cold days of the year. The lack of parking is a another concern to but luckily it is...

Going to Veroia on a business trip, I had the opportunity to stay to this marvelous boutique hotel. The key word is "relax". The hotel , is located just near a small river, and is surround by similar old, well restored houses that make the scene absoluteley magic. What I loved more, was the "sound" of the river that lull...

This was one of the absolute best hotel stays of my life! The location is wonderful. It is alongside a small river and the sound of the rushing water is completely relaxing. The room was large, beautifully appointed, and extremely comfortable. The hotel is located in the old Jewish quarter of the city of Veria. We were traveling to Thessaloniki,...

Kokkino Spiti is a reconstructed building of an old house where my family had lived in the first half of the last century. So, for us it was a journey to history. We were accepted warmly and had an experience of the history coming alive. Except of the familial feeling, we found the location within the old quarter particularly convenient,...

This beautiful house in the old Jewish Quarter of Veria is worth a detour between Thessaloniki and the gorgeous mountains of Northeastern Macedonia. It is beautifully restored, comfortable low-key luxury, hidden amidst tranquil winding brick paths. The ample breakfast that is offered for a modest extra few euros will fill you for the day. You will be graciously and warmly...

Kokkino Spiti was recommended to us by two Natives of Veroia. What we were NOT told, that, this MAGNIFICENT place to stay, is in a Neighborhood full of Old and more recent International and Greek History ! Located in the Centuries-old, Jewish, Barbuta District ! We stayed at Kokkino Spiti, two nights. During the days we were there, EVERY DAY...

Anastasia was very helpful, arriving late in the evening she met us at the square to make it easy for us. What an entrance! First impression what a luxury hotel, wood fabrics beds and the only shower with glass enclosure we have experienced during our tour. Breakfast very rich and attentive. The only negative for us arriving late and tired...

This is a boutique hotel which deserves the name. It's small and really full of character. Staff is very friendly and - lucky for us - they moved us to the suite, because the junior suite we actually wanted was booked. Breakfast was excellent, too. I concur with all the positive things other reviewers wrote, there is only one negative...

After finally figuring out how to reach this hotel in Veria by car, we settled into our junior suite. The office lady was kind and helpful. We took the "larger" room and we use that term loosely. This hotel is deep in the old Jewish quarter and rooms are small. The bathroom was updated and very modern. The room clerk...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Walking through queen Vergina's backstreet, we are situated in Barbouta, the Hebraic quarter of Veria. Walking up Olganou street, we come to a small square, where there is the old Hebraic synagogue. There, we can see a bold building dated from the 19th century, the monument known as the 'Kokkino Spiti' (Red House). A manor, which was restored and decorated with lone and attention by its present owners, turned into a traditional hotel with six rooms. It's a luxurious, small hotel in the heart of Veria, next to Orologio square. It is a unique location along the bank of the river Tripotamos, which has a view of the hill Profitis Ilias. ... more   less
