Despite a mistake in the reservation via booking.com, the owner was a great host. We were there for one night, the apartments are very cosy and the landscape is stunning. There had been mistake with the booking so there wasn't a room for us..the owner arranged an apartment in the property the first night, and was paid for a hotel... More

Dear Guest, thank you very much for taking some time to write us a review, and for spending such good words about our service. Unluckly, your online reservation wasn't delivered to our system (a malfunction that never happened before), and I'm really sorry that you couldn't spend all of your holiday here by us. On the other hand, I'm also... More

This family owned & operated winery/bed & breakfast is a true example of the Tuscan approach to hospitality. From the very first moment you feel like a long lost relative returning home. Add to this the fact that the wines are great & the food a sheer delight. You can't help falling in love with Tuscani.

The visit toTenute di Badia was on the last day of a group tour and was one of the most special memories of a wonderful trip to Italy . We visited this winery as part of a tour group. Our hosts Anna and her son Matteo were outstanding. We had a tour of the winery and were then treated to lunch and wine tasting. I'm not a wine drinker so I can't speak to the attributes of the wine, but they also make their own olive oil there which... More

Kudos to Matteo and his family owned and run winery and Agriturismo near Lucca. The grounds and buildings are quintessential Tuscany. Matteo is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the winery and winemaking and history of the region. Wine, bread, olive oil, almond cookies and Vin Santo...a highlight of our tour of the Lucca and Pisa region.

This was a stop on our bus tour of Italy. We had a brief tour of the winery by the couple who owned it and then had lunch in a large country style dining room, which was very rustic, but comfortable. The food was very good and the wine flowed freely. Everyone was given an order blank to fill out... More

We found Tenute di Baddia after an unfortunate experience at an agriturismo in Lucca. We enjoyed a wine tour and learned quite a lot about the grape and olive harvests, as well as the wine making and olive pressing procceses. The host, Anna, was exceptionally knowledgeable, welcoming and responsive to questions. Their products were among the best we sampled in... More
