Private, secure parking behind villa was really great, and all building was covered by cameras. Room was cute but all furniture warn out, bathroom was renovated and ok, but room was clean that was the most important. Breakfast is poor, we left hungry, no coffee - that was first time that i dont drink coffee for breakfast at least from machine. Disappointing. Receptionist was kind.

We stayed here for two nights while touring Sicily. We chose the hotel primarily because it was close to the train station. So logistically getting in to Palermo was a doddle. However. We had hot water only one morning, the room was cold and the plaster showed signs of damp, we did fi d a heat exchanger and worked out ourselves how to use. The final morning we could not get a cup of coffee or tea for breakfast and one of the other guests ate most of the very small buffet, which was not replenished.

I went there to see sites on my vacation and it was great. The hotel was conveniently place near the train station and very close to many sites. The room was nicely decorated. There was free parking for all customers and the complimentary breakfast was exquisite. I will be coming back for sure. Howard Jacobs

Friendly staff, big rooms, and only a couple of miles from the sea. Excellent parking spots, and free Wi-Fi was also a plus. Although the bathrooms could be re-done. Overwall, me and family had a great stay.

In the evening, unfortunately, you can only enter the hotel using the fire escape which leads to a door on the 1st floor. The front door should be open till 21 o'clock. We have found it already closed shortly before 21 o'clock. In the kitchen there were not enough dishes for everybody. Unfortunately from the shower comes only a hard jet of water. The bathroom could be cleaned better. We go not accurate information at the reception. The trains to Palermo are not always running every 10 minutes. We had to wait for the train approx. 30 minutes because we had just missed it. We didn’t find many restaurants nearby (in spite of intensive search in different streets after a research of restaurants in the area using Google). The first day when we returned to the hotel our room was cold because they had turned off the heating. On the second day the Capuccino we got for breakfast had very little coffee. It seemed to be milk with some cocoa and a drop of coffee. The parking lot is very small. I found 4 stars too much.

We stayed here for 5 nights in February whilst house hunting. We arrived late and got lost. Eventually the young owner drove out to find our car and guide us back. In fact it's very near the railway station but not noisy. 5minute drive to nearest seaside. Town is a busy non touristy place and out of season the hotel seemed to mostly attract business types. Good breakfast, comfortable beds. Decor a little dated but everything worked and we were glad of the limited self catering facilities. Recommended for a stop over rather than long stay.

The hotel itself is clean and tidy and very good value. The breakfasts are, I guess, more traditionally Italian with the focus on pastries and bread and no focus at all on sausage, eggs and bacon. The hotel had secure off-road parking and free wireless internet plus the room has a reasonably well equipped kitchenette and a supermarket just around the corner. Which, after five weeks of paying 70 Euros a pop for four very average main courses and a couple of bottles of water, was a welcome opportunity to save a few quid. The hotel is only 200 metres or so from the railway station the carpark of which looked to be doubling as a land-fill site. Garbage all over the place. It's like somebody had looted several bags of clothes from Oxfam's doorstep and tossed them all over the shop. Last Christmas. Anyway off we went on the train to Palermo. If you ever get the opportunity to visit Palermo then make a polite excuse and decline. A noisy, dirty dump. We had planned to spend the entire day but after an hour and a half we pulled the pin and left - never to return - except for the ferry to Genoa. There are some nice spots nearby. The cathedral at Monreale is well worth a visit - the Normans were kicking the Arabs up and down the pitch before they came to England to do the same in 1066 - who knew? And the beaches look half decent but were totally packed. Plus there are fantastically preserved greco-roman ruins all over the shop provided you have a car to access them. The owners were very helpful although with limited English and I had to feel sorry for them trying to make a go of things on an island that has so much of its housing and factories in such a state of neglect and disrepair and so much garbage just lying all over the place that it appears to have given up the will to live.

After almost two weeks of eating out in restaurants, we loved the possibility to cook our own meals in the kitchenette we got with our large room. The room itself was nice, lots of space and quite clean. Good clean bathroom as well. Free Wi-Fi and TV with decoder and quite a few channels. It looked as if the kitchenette had been better equipped in earlier days, but we asked for some glasses and some pots and pans and got them right away. Grocery store next door, so easy to find something to cook. Friendly staff and no problem with an early check in. Average breakfast, but no problem getting a second cup of excellent cafe latte in the morning. Not quite sure why they are classified as four stars, but we enjoyed our stay.

Nothing extravagant, but for the price, you won't find much better anywhere. Bagheria is a cute city, and is less than a half hour drive from Palermo, if you're interested in staying outside of Palermo. The hotel is a couple minutes' walk from the train station, if you would prefer that. Downtown Bagheria is about a 5 minutes walk from the hotel, with the city center about 15 minutes away by foot. Do not miss the pizza place down the street, right next to the train tracks. Neapolitan style, and among the best pizza to be found anywhere (including Napoli).
