What a little gem! Wonderful restaurant with 4 (5?) rooms tucked behind in a tranquil courtyard. Run by the owners Clare (chef) and David (front of house). Small but beautifully put together menu using the freshest of ingredients. Freshest of fresh local fish, scallops and crab, wonderfully aged local beef and a lamb tagine that just melted at the touch...

Discovered this place by mere happenstance and was delighted to have done so. Despite walking in without a booking my partner and I were made extremely welcome and placed by the open fire by the host. He did his job to an extremely high standard, making excellent recommendations on wine and beer to match the truly memorable comestibles on offer....

We stayed for a couple of days at the Kilberry Inn. This was our third visit and was as special as our previous two. David is so welcoming and Claire cooks the most delicious food. The rooms are comfortable with little touches like homemade shortbread (too delicious to share!), the breakfasts are varied and plentiful, setting you up for the...

Visited this place for Lunch & left totally delighted. The service, the food, the ambience excellent. We could not have had a better experience & will remember this place for a long time. It is well worth the effort of getting there. Make sure you book in advance for evening meals as it does get busy especially during holiday times....

It is hard to imagine but after a long drive from Glasgow when finally along the ancient B8024 with the islands of Jura, Isaly and Gigha in view you arrive at the tiny village of Kilberry ; blink and you've missed it but the red telephone box stops you beside a small white building with a red roof. It's like...

Small, charming and intimate, in a remote and beautiful location, The Kilberry Inn offers outstanding cuisine with an emphasis on locally sourced seafood and great attention to detail. Well worth making the journey for a special treat.

Hard to fault this restaurant with rooms. The food is first class, local fresh meats and super moist juicy fish, the cod was impressive. David hosts with aplomb, and the wine list is simply presented.

As children under the age of 12 aren't accepted, the place remains a corner of serenity. The five rooms available (named after neighbouring islands) are simple but well equipped: Comfortable bed, flat screen TV, bathrobes and slippers, local information guide, tea and coffee facilities and a jar with tasty homemade shortbread biscuits. The spotless en-suite shower is modern with nice...

My wife and I have just returned from another memorable stay at the Kilberry, the service is first class nothing is too much trouble for David and his front of house staff. Not to mention the food, which never disappoints and for the quality you receive is excellent value for money! Can't wait to return. Lynn and Paul Wilson..........no relation...

We have visited this inn a number of times for lunch but decided to stay overnight on their D,B and B package. Lovely clean rooms with en suite showers. Delightful dinner imaginatively constructed in a cosy quite intimate dining room. Very good choice of wines which the host, David can describe authoritatively. Breakfast was also of a particularly high standard...

The Kilberry Inn is a small restaurant with five smart bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, situated on the glorious West Coast of Scotland. We are on the B8024, the scenic route between Lochgilphead and Tarbert, Loch Fyne. Only a 2 1/2 hour drive from the centre of Glasgow The Kilberry Inn makes a wonderful base for exploring Argyll as well as the islands of Islay, Jura and Gigha. Good food is served in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, where the emphasis is on using the freshest of local West Coast ingredients. Boasting a 'Bib Gourmand', awarded by the Michelin guide for good food at moderate prices, the Kilberry Inn is a modern Scottish restaurant featuring cosy log fires and stone walls within a traditional whitewashed, red tin roofed cottage.
