We were a large group of families in tents and spent a very enjoyable 7 nights on this campsite. The staff were always polite, helpful and smiling - they genuinely seemed to want to help and gave good suggestions for restaurants and trips. The tent pitches had the option of a private toilet/shower room which was a welcome addition at night time when you don't want to walk to the shower block. There was also a sink right next to the tent pitch, which made cooking a lot easier. We were a group of 6 families and all of the pitches were well shaded by the trees and at least in a hot June, the heat was bearable in the mornings. The bar in general opened at 9am which was a little late for the morning croissant, but the coffee is very good when it does open. The onsite restaurant's pizzas are really good, and what I saw of the mussels and shrimp at the other tables looked very promising too. The best part of this campsite is the beach, which was not too busy at all and with the option of both the private campsite beach with umbrellas/sunloungers or a piece of free beach next to this, there was virtually no walking required. There is a path right up to the beach, which I saw was possible even with a double buggy. The young children loved the freedom of this small campsite, which doesn't have the loud blaring music that so many feature and is small enough that you can let them roam! It is a balanced mixture of bungalows, tents and campers, and has a really nice 'family run' feel. Thank you to all the staff who made us feel so welcome. Highly recommended,
