Staff were very friendly and helpful .. The positive - the property has been renovated to a very chic and contemporary hotel but still kept the medieval feel of the property .... Loved the herb garden, the swimming pool and sauna area, the free mini bar & the bottle of water for our journey .... Breakfast was great - good...

Thank you very much for filling in our questionnaire as well as the personal comments and suggestions, which we take to heart. We appreciate your positive feedback very much since complaints also mean chances and praise always is an acknowledgment of services. Ringing of bells of the monastery church ... This is an old tradition and attributed to the time...

We spent 2 nights at the kloster. The staff was friendly and willing to help, the breakfast was absolutely amazing ! the spa was nice and quiet and clean. The hotel room was very charming, clean and big. We could not ask for a better place to adjust from 3 weeks holiday in France before going back to work. Will...

The hotel is very nice situated in an old monestary. The staff is very friendly and the rooms have all comfort and have very good beds. The bathroom is very well equiped and the rooms are provided with books, tv and wifi. Jos Geenen - Weert

The location is special, in facilities that combine a historic monastery with modern comforts. The renovation has been done in a tasteful way, although the historic feel has been lost somewhat. The breakfast is very well supplied and varied. Meals in the Kloster Schänke are fine, wines are on the expensive side. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

A true gem: luxurious modern design hotel within "old walls", but no show-off with the only purpose to offer 360° zen & relaxation. Staff & service is one of the best I ever experienced. Only downside was the monastery bell tower right next to my room - if you are a difficult sleeper, ask for a room away from it....

This is a truly fine house. Everything is spotless, well-arranged, and comfortable. The service was gracious, the amenities were plentiful, and the setting was relaxing. The buildings are beautifully restored. The lovely herb garden, even this early in the year, held some interest, and should be glorious come summer. The little pool, sauna & steamroom were clean and welcoming. Breakfast...

A converted Monastery where the owner has taken a long time to achieve perfection in the ambience and presentation of the whole building. The Rooms were spacious and catered for all our needs while the room staff were excellent. Unfortunately our Restaurant meal was not up to standard and a return visit would probably be doubtful because of this. There...

This hotel is a gem! Lovely and quiet with great service and wonderful food, both for breakfast and in the restaurants where we dined. We felt we were in the lap of luxury. It is close to many tourist spots in Germany and in France.

We have stayed multiple times at this hotel (easily 8 times) either with family or friends. The hotel is a great example of how to convert old buildings into modern facilities without loosing the charme and atmosphere of the old. The rooms are well proportioned, the spa is of a good level (although not large the space is well utilized),...

Located in the beautiful small city of Hornbach, just at the German French Border I did not expect much more than some cows and a simple place to sleep. However, Kloster Hornbach is an excellent renovated historical place, offering first class service which I even rarely experience in 5 star luxury hotels. The staff knows your name immediately after check...
