I love this place. Is it the fabulous views- yes, it's is the impeccable service- yes, is it that any drink you order is served at the right temperature- yes. Is it because the whole experience makes you fall in love again with Scotland. I have been coming to this place for 10 years and it has never let me...

We visited Duck Bay recently for a special birthday lunch. I was disappointed that we were unable to book a table in advance as we'd hoped for a window seat, which we couldn't get on arrival. Not sure why that's policy. I had made enquiries in advance, as I thought the vegetarian options on the menu were very limited but...

Been to the Duck Bay Marina several times and every time we have been we haven't been disappointed. The restaurant itself has a very relaxed atmosphere and the staff are all very quick with service and are very helpful and professional. Every meal we have had at the Duck Bay has been perfect with no complaints. The views are also...

To sit and eat a lovely meal overlooking Loch Lomond was just so amazing. An added bonus was seeing the Sea Plane landing on the water. The Sea Plane does trips around the area. You can also go on a boat trips around the Loch and surrounding areas. Nearby is a shopping centre which is also worth a visit. Full...

Ordered the vegetarian breakfast - cost£7.30. Toast arrived 30 mins before so it was freezing buy time breakfast arrived. Breakfast consisted of 1 small poached egg a fancy flowery unripe fried tomato too hard to eat. The smallest mushrooms I have ever seen and a wee drop of cold beans and 1 potato scone. I was so hungry I had...

We had a fantastic time having afternoon tea and sandwiches etc. in December. There were 7 of us and each had different things. The food is excellent. However, I noticed after we left they had overcharged us on the bill. I telephoned not once but 6 times in the weeks after and each time was promised a return phone call...

A day out to Loch Lomond and we passed a sign for an old haunt, Duck Bay Marina. Haven't been here for literally decade's, we were hungry and decided to have a look. Very nice decor, even on a rather grey day, imagine what it would be like in summer sun? Welcoming staff took us to a gorgeous view over the...

We have dined here many times with no complaints but my meal on Saturday was horrible. I ordered macaroni cheese with crispy bacon. Sounded lovely. Sadly not. The base of the cheese sauce was neither a white sauce or bechamel but looked and tasted like water thickened with cornflour. As for the crispy bacon! Lots of soft white fat with...
