Incredibly friendly family running a picturesque chateaux. Great wine tasting on arrival from their own vineyards. Rooms are spacious and clean. breakfast is typically French, croissant and coffee. Definitely a very recommendable accommodation!

This chamber d'hote has four guest rooms , and is the home of a Bordeaux vigneron. My room was very comfortable, attractively furnished, with a large wet room. breakfast was first class. All of this for a very reasonable cost.

We stayed here two nights to experience this renowned wine region. Saint Emilion itself is a world heritage site and charming - but something of a circus with tour buses and crowds. Escaping to Les Secrets was the perfect antidote to all that. The gite itself is in a working vineyard. The owners are very "sympa" and speak perfect English....

We had a great experience, starting with our arrival with a great welcome from the owner, our perfect rooms (we were traveling with our elderly Parents and our teenage Daughter so needed 2 rooms), the quiet setting in the middle of vineyards, wine tasting with the owner and some other fun guests, great lounging by the pool (in between other...

I stayed here a few weeks in July 2012. The owners were so helpful, friendly, and speak English. The B&B is charming, clean, and comfortable. It’s an extension of their house and felt homey yet private. The rooms are updated with modern bathrooms. The breakfast was always fresh and had a variety of the standards. There is a full kitchen...

I can't speak highly enough about this place! It was a bit hard to find, but absolutely worth it. We stayed in a quad (family) room with a double bed and two twin beds. It was very large and beautifully decorated, and the bathroom was also large and modern (it even had a towel warmer). The beds were very comfortable....

Loved our stay in this renovated B&B at the vineyards of chateau Tifayne. Very friendly and helpful owners, spacious rooms with antique furniture, and very quiet and peaceful surroundings. There is fully equipped kitchen you can use, a swimming pool outside and outdoor seating for a quiet dinner at night. Tifayne is not far from St Emilion, but as we...

Wow! Les Secrets de Tifayne is such a lovely place. The setting is about as good as it gets with views of vineyards and gently rolling hills. It's close enough to the village of St Emilion to enjoy the day there, but far enough away from its tourists to enjoy complete quiet at night beneath a sky filled with stars....

We stayed for 2 nights. Our room and en suite were stylishly modern and had a view over the vineyards which were full of grapes almost ready to harvest. Had a free, very informative wine tasting on the first night. The wines are very good and very reasonably priced. The hosts were very helpful but not intrusive. This place is...

Nice people, nice place, peaceful location. Oh, and the wine is pretty good too! Stayed here with some friends and couldn't have been made more welcome. I once thought about writing a hotel guide on hotels with no TVs in rooms. This would be first on my list! Silence is golden!
