We stayed just one night, but would return in a heartbeat. The family run hotel is very hands on and responsive to any request. The room was fantastic and quiet. The food is great--- couldn't ask for anything better. Our only problem was that our navi directed us to a different brewery, but it's in a French car, so maybe...

I stayed for one night during a business trip through Germany. The room was updated and comfortable. It was clean and quiet. The staff/owner was very nice and took the time to translate the dinner menu for me. The food and drink was fantastic. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I would definitely stay here again.

My room in this hotel was huge! It was really nice to see we were not just packed in like sardines. We were very well taken care of here. The breakfast was very tasty, some nice traditional food on offer, with some standard selections too. A really nice quiet hotel. We got plenty of rest while on our business trip!

Stay here every 4-6 weeks on business. Great rooms, fantastic friendly service and delicious dinners. Own their own brewery so really good bavarian beer on tap. Simple but sufficient breakfast, especially if you have dinner there the night before, and unbelieable value for money

I was on a short business trip in Bavaria in March 2013 and wanted to stay somewhere off the beaten track. Some friends recommended the Kappler Hotel in the quiet little town of Altomunster. This hotel is one of the most stunning I've ever stayed in with fantastic, local food and the best beer for miles around. The owners spoke...

I never imagined that I will get such affectionate caretakers and reception staff in this family run hotel. Although Altomunster is one of the farthest points from Munich, I correctly chose this place to stay as my employer's German office was in Erdweg connected well by Ban network ( 6 minutes by train) in Munich. The room was very spacious...

We had booked into the Mairbrau Hotel but on our arrival its restaurant was closed. The owner had recommended a pizz place, but we found Kapplerbrau and it was well worth it. Clean modren but traditional themsed restaurant, traditional bavarian cuisine, cooked and presented well. Next time this is where we will stay.

The hotel is very welcoming, the owner,Anton, is very kind and helpful. The hotel is small, quite and peaceful for those who would like to get rid of stress. Our room was very comfortable, clean and with a very nice balcony. The breakfast is also very fresh and individually tailored to your demand.
