We stayed in this gem of a hotel for 1 night in Sept 2016. The hotel is well located just on the edge of the town, so is nice and quiet but a short walk from the town and a variety of museums. The hotel has been in the same family for several generations and is brimming full of character....

We made a detour to stay at this hotel on our route back home and it did not dissapoint. The owners are so dedicated. Although a small town hotel, everything works and is immaculte. The food is traditional and all made there, including the pickles, jams etc etc. We will return on our next tour!

We spent three nights at this hotel (along with two other couples) and we all thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Rose was a great and helpful hostess. The breakfasts were large. We had two of our three dinners at the hotel and they were delicious -- all made by her husband. The hotel has been in his family for 19 (!!!)...

Everything was so wonderfully authentic. Rose was such a superb hostess who went out of her way to ensure we would have a great stay and that we felt so well looked after. She also sat with every guest in the morning to help them with their itinerary for the day.

Beautifully kept traditional German inn with large and immaculate rooms. Service is attentive and the breakfast choice large. The evening meal is mainly German traditional which seems to be almost unavailable elsewhere. A very comfortable stay.

I had never been to this area before and I have to say it is beautiful. This style of hotel was unusual for us as we tend to like the anonymity of the larger hotels as we are not great mixers. However the Hotel and the Lady who runs it are both charming and were a pleasure to meet. Very...

Everything was terrific - hospitable and welcoming hosts, a clean and comfortable room (even if a bit small), convenient free parking, located in a charming town within close proximity to many things to do in the Black Forest.

I stay at Hotel-Gasthof Zum Weyssen Rössle for 15 days for an orientation program in November. Upon arrival, we were well received by Rose. I love my room. We started our lunch at the restaurant cooked by chef and we fell in love with the tasty food served. Chef and Rose are very friendly and helpful. We dined at our...

Rose and Ulrich Wolber, the owners of Hotel Gasthof zum Weyssen Rossle are amazing. My father and I stayed here for 4 nights in 2 very comforatable, immaculate single rooms. Dad turned 85 the day we arrived and Rose went out of her way to make him feel very special at dinner the first night. The food, prepared by Ulrich...
